I think that's very optimistic for Milwaukee. In terms of being a threat to the Cavs.
Injuries can obviously change anything, but LeBron is still going to be the best player on the floor, possibly still the best player in the damn league.
Even if it goes LBJ/Giannis as 1/2... Kyrie and Kev are still clearly 3/4.
I mean Delly could be Milwaukee's 3rd or 4th best player, we'll see how Middleton plays when he comes back.
I mean they're 1 whole game over .500 right now. They're going to need more than just Middleton returning to even be able to get to the Cavs (assuming they're not the 8 seed), and to be a threat , I really think Giannis would have to be in the MVP discussion and Parker would have to take a major leap that I don't think exists in his overall potential, and even then I think they still need more.
I just so not see them as a threat to a healthy Cavs team. We are there reigning champions! We have a pretty damn good shot to repeat. And I'm just not seeing any signs of LeBron not being the best player in the NBA still. He proves exactly that in June and he looks equally as explosive, quick, and strong and he hasn't even started trying yet.
It takes a LOT to jump from mediocre to "threat to the Champs". Just feel like you might be underestimating how much better we are than Milwaukee.
