This stifles a LOT of conversation." Don't bring up anything because people might misinterpret it.."

No, be more informed and less quick to be incited. Out of all the people to blame, the person who is being misunderstood is the last who should be in this scenario. Blame twitter, reporters who know what they're doing, and ppl who jump to obscene conclusions.

Saying what you mean and being clear about it is a bad thing or a good thing?

I don't really agree (not the second statement because I was saying the same thing). Public figures should be able to communicate effectively. How important to the conversation is it for Cotton to make a quip on Twitter? Thinking before you Tweet goes in every direction.

I agree with that too...

We're on a roll...

Care to go for three in a row?

Get him talking about Kyrie. Loves him.

But don't get him behind the wheel of a car. Can't see a goddamn thing and doesn't pay attention to the road.

It's like yelling into a tornado.

We live in a world where if you mistake things for being racist, it's not your fault.

I mean Qtip was using this tweet as a trap as he admitted, so it tells you a little about how it can be hard to decipher.
It tells you that people fall prey to baiting easily, and don't bother to think things through.

This is crazy.. the media, politicians, intelligence agencies are all cannibalizing themselves and each other..

Is this normal?

I know this was some pages back and i'm not here to compare the situations of other races or what slavery is, but Chinese people have had it pretty fucking bad in recent history. The Japanese invaded their country, raping and pillaging. My girlfriends mother and grandparents endured rough fucking times when the communist party took over. They kicked them off their own land and they had to scrap by hauling human fertilizer for a living while pretending to be communists. Her uncles and my girlfriends father really turned the family fortunes back around, but it was extremely tough and grueling for them for a LONG time. I'm not even going to get into the Chinese railroad workers, but it was no picnic for them.

The discussion overnight was about slaves in America. No doubt slavery has occurred in other countries over time.

Good for them though for sure. It's incredible what immigrants who came to America went through before coming here. Really makes you think twice about complaining about our current "plight" here in America in front of that generation, right?

Our local Radio guy in Columbus goes by the name T Bone.

so is he Inherently Racist?

Why not have move all this to a different race thread. There are some serious issues and laws that could affect millions of people that could change soon that are not even being talked about.
