Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Delly was a non factor in the Finals last year. I understand the relatability to the majority of the fan base but he's not a difference maker against the Warriors.

Yet the year before he looked like a finals MVP candidate.

OK there's only one thing left to do to guarantee us a championship, We need to fire our coach and hire our defensive guru mastermind assistant coach Mike Longabardi.

This method has been proven to be successful 100% of the times, So can't argue with results guys get it done griff :chuckle:

Also need to go bowling.

Channing Frye wasn't either, probably need to ship him out.

Shumpert was pretty bad, I'd say he needs to go to.

This idea of evaluating every player based on whether or not they had a good Finals is...its bad.

If we are looking at people who are not big factors in the Finals then Kevin Love probably belongs on the list, until he proves otherwise anyway.

If he's healthy this year I hope for better, but he was out in 2015 and very inconsistent to say the least in 2016...good rebounding in Game 7 and "the stop" at the end but that's about it.

I'm legitimately worried about Frye though.

He is just so unreasonably bad at rebounding and defense that unless our ball movement is getting him open looks he kind of bleeds points.

He needs a strong rebounder on the floor with him and the problem is a lot of our Frye lineups don't have that. We've been a pretty mediocre defensive rebounding team and a big part of that is Frye being a terrible rebounder.

Way too often Frye's man comes barreling into the paint and easily gets an offensive rebound because Channing is just standing there straight up with about as narrow of a base as he can have looking like he's never even heard of the term box out. He has to be more physical. But he's an old dog. I'm not betting on him learning new tricks

Frye has a legitimate claim to being our best shooter and he's one hell of an offensive weapon. But in games where KI and LBJ can't get him the ball he just bleeds points out there

A lot of people mentioning Delly, but the guy I sort of wish we had was Mozgov (healthy).

For the Warriors, we don't need either one of them. In fact, I would argue that we probably have our 8 man rotation set for the finals. If healthy, we can beat this Warriors team as currently constructed.

The question...the ONLY question as far as I'm concerned is can we get to the finals healthy and in top form?

Where we miss Delly and Moz is not against the Warriors, but in slogging through the remainder of the regular season and through the first two rounds of the playoffs.

True.

Just saying the reality is that Mozgov was far more effective against GS than Delly was.

I do wish we had Delly on the roster as well though.

I'd take a flier, I mean why not?

But let's think about this, playoff rotational speaking.

PG) Kyrie - LeBron - Shump
SG) JR - Shump - Korver
SF) LeBron - Korver - RJ/Lance
PF) Love - LeBron
C) TT - Frye - Love

That is arguably the rotation of players at the positions they play. Now good thing about Lance he can ball handle better than the average guard, that could be pretty big considering we have no backup point guard, and who knows who they're targeting. But my money is on them waiting to the last second. Good chance Deron Williams is bought out.

The signing of Lance would mean RJ is out of the rotation. Are we willing? He looks old, then has a few minutes of old school RJ. Certainly can't go wrong bringing in a tall combo guard.

I see Lance as a guy you play at PG with LBJ instead of Shump handling the ball and SG/SF with Kyrie. I think he also helps as a guy that can be part of a defense first unit. Lance/Shump/JR/LBJ/TT could be almost lock down on defense while still have good scoring. All those players have the ability to switch on to multiple positions.

Thanks for sharing. Was a good listen.

But RJ better hope no one hears that he is pulling for the Steelers to win the super bowl.

I just hope RJ finds that fountain of youth again otherwise he'll be pretty useless come playoff-time.
