Have to find a way to get a point guard. No idea what, if anything, they can do.

I said this in the GT, but it's better here. I think the biggest mistake of the off-season wasn't letting Delly go, necessarily. I think Griffin and Gilbert actually believed they struck gold with Felder and he'd be ready to contribute right away. Well, he isn't, and they had no backup plan in place. Mario Chalmers coming off of a major injury is probably our best bet at this point...and that's not a great bet.

Yea when Kyrie got into early foul trouble and LBJ was running the point the rest of the first quarter, it really exposed how overdependent Cavs are on these two as ball handlers. Like what if LBJ got into foul trouble too? Not to mention that it takes LeBron away from being a pick setter like he was so effectively with Delly last year in those bench units.

Also, whats up with the turnovers? I get that we are not good defensively but at least we have to match gsw offensively with our big 3.. The cavs need to play faster if we have a chance.. We waste possessions on turnovers and most of the time they dont knkw what to do on offense.. That lbj top of the key pick n roll is so mike brown.. Ball movement has become not existent and pace is lacking.. With the weapons we have it is confusing to see lack of offensive production.. I dont mind the defense right now because the cavs dont have the personnel to be a great defensive team, but the offense is puke worthy..

Mario will probably end up a Spur...

I'm not sure why I always come back to Lance Stephenson but I think he is the playmaker that the Cavs need right now. He plays good defense when motivated and can play backup point guard. He can defend PG, SG, and SF. He adds versatility and gives that punch on offense the 2nd unit needs. At this point I think he is worth the flyer if he is healthy.

By definition he fits what Griff is looking for on the court....(non-PG that can make plays and defend multiple positions)

You just have to always wonder where his head is.

From what the Bucks fan pages and commentators are saying, some in Milwaukee are suggesting getting rid of Delly in the off season...surely not...maybe Griff can do them a deal

Delly was a non factor in the Finals last year. I understand the relatability to the majority of the fan base but he's not a difference maker against the Warriors.

Frye was also a non factor.

People forget LeBron has 2 switches. Season/Playoffs, everything the Cavs may lack, or people think they lack, LeBron flips on those needs and becomes the All in one guy.

Cavs just need to stay healthy like last year, then we have no doubts.

Why do people always point to last year's finals when they talk about Dell's value to the team but don't talk about what he did for us the previous finals campaign...he is more valuable to us against the Dubs than is Felder

I'd take a flier, I mean why not?

But let's think about this, playoff rotational speaking.

PG) Kyrie - LeBron - Shump
SG) JR - Shump - Korver
SF) LeBron - Korver - RJ/Lance
PF) Love - LeBron
C) TT - Frye - Love

That is arguably the rotation of players at the positions they play. Now good thing about Lance he can ball handle better than the average guard, that could be pretty big considering we have no backup point guard, and who knows who they're targeting. But my money is on them waiting to the last second. Good chance Deron Williams is bought out.

The signing of Lance would mean RJ is out of the rotation. Are we willing? He looks old, then has a few minutes of old school RJ. Certainly can't go wrong bringing in a tall combo guard.

It's annoying losing to the Warriors because of all the celebrating they do, but really this game doesn't tell you much.

In the playoffs the Warriors will not be getting all those fast break points, they will not be passing the ball around for 35+ assists, the game slows down and the ability to score in ISO situations becomes a premium.

Also the real test for them will be in tight games like on C-Mas day, when the pressure of closing is on KD/Steph and the pecking order comes into question. They have shown some vulnerability there.

This game definitely did red flag our lack of depth and playmaking, we just need more pieces.

Lol

Glad I knocked out straight after work

Damn cavs didn't give a single fuck tonight

Channing Frye wasn't either, probably need to ship him out.

Shumpert was pretty bad, I'd say he needs to go to.

This idea of evaluating every player based on whether or not they had a good Finals is...its bad.
