Welcome Derrick Williams

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I don't think Bogut will be able to stay on the court against the Warriors. The Warriors will run all day with Bogut on the court or Frye.

We don't want Bogut for the Warriors...

Or, at least, I don't want Bogut for the Warriors...

Bogut nor Frye is for the Warriors... our collection of 7-8 wings/switchable bigs is for the Warriors. Bogut is for the regular season and maybe 10-15 mins. vs. Dwight Howard.

Good point. The Rockets might sign him. However, he has the same agent as Richard Jefferson so he might be coming to Cleveland.

That's why I like the thought of signing Sanders or even Terrance Jones. The Cavs really don't even need Bogut for the regular season.

I always liked Williams' game on the Knicks. Now on the Cavs he still looks like a solid player. On the Knicks his weakness was defense. However, on the Cavs he looks good on defense so far.

I wish the Cavs would have Williams postup more on the low post when he has shorter players guarding him.

I just want to see someone besides LeBron throw down a windmill once in a while.

Didn't the Warriors play Bogut when he was with them? Lol

(Just like them, we don't need him to play big minutes. Just meaningful minutes)

Get Deron Williams
Waive Jordan McRae
Sign Larry Sanders or Andrew Bogut
Sign Derrick Williams for the rest of the season

That is the deepest team in the league.

Kyrie Irving; Deron Williams; Kay Felder
JR Smith; Kyle Korver; Iman Shumpert DeAndre Liggins
LeBron James; Derrick Williams; Richard Jefferson
Kevin Love; Channing Frye; James Jones
Tristan Thompson; Andrew Bogut

Seriously, I know Durant/Curry/Thompson/Green won't be easy. But, bring on June.

That team has 12 guys that NEED minutes.

There's no such thing as having too much depth, but damn... There are going to be nights some of these guys (RJ, Derrick Williams, Shumpert) may get 20 minutes, and other nights they get virtually nothing based on matchup once we are completely healthy.

This is part of why I was a fan of trading Shumpert this past deadline while at his highest value.

When you are picked in the position that Williams was taken everyone expects you to be a guy that changes the fortunes of a franchise and when you don't, the entire focus becomes the things you don't do well. When you join a very good team, they care only about what you can do well and whether that skill helps them be better. It takes a ton of pressure off the player and can allow him to excel in a more simplified role and they can sometimes surprise you by expanding their game as a result.

I don't think its a contract he is hungry for, I think he wants to prove his doubters, and there are many of them, wrong.

Yeah i think he wants to show that he can be a vital Piece on a Title Team.. wich is great for us because it basically means he propably will keep busting his ass off..
