Sounds like on some level, the movie struck a nerve. I do believe this was Jordan Peele's point.
I really need you to expound on this because I feel you might make an interesting point.
Let's pretend Peele's motive is indeed to strike a nerve which typically translates to 'piss people off or make them mad.' Yeah? So? You didn't actually present an issue through the dialogue that made me emotional.
I was exceptionally disappointed with the movie's sorry-ass quality. There are plenty of awful movies in the world and I doubt any director would receive any accolades or commendation for accomplishing the idea of pissing people off because you made a god-awful movie.
