LeBron James

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
LBJ free throws will be a huge problem in the playoffs! We already have hack the TT, but now we have hack the LJ to [emoji35]

Yeah he'll fix the free throws. This isn't exactly the first time this has happened, though it might be the worse regular season stats (i'm not sure but it feels like it).

In any case he'll fix it up to the average when it counts, no doubt.

Aren't the turnovers still better ratio-wise than his previous return seasons? SOMEONE WHO DOES THE NUMBERS TELL ME IF I'M FULL OF SHIT.

The MVP race is quite close if you look at the numbers and the projected votes so far. LeBron has a legit shot STILL if he go insane while carrying the Cavs through a big win-streak. As things stand I just don't think the team's record justifies the trophy even though he has MVP numbers.
I think he'd need a James Harden injury and a bad end to the season for the Thunder/Westbrook to win it.

Not happening. Shame is the Cavs blew about 10 games this year they should have won. Add 10 more wins and he's probably the favorite right now.

The sports writers of America will pick and choose what they want for the criteria this year for MVP. Every year it changes, some years it's best statistical, others it's best player on best team. Most years winning percentage is taken into account.

LBJ got robbed from an MVP or two at an early age because our team wasn't good enough. That same shit should apply to Westbrook. The guy is carrying his team to a 1st round exit (barring huge GSW upset). He doesn't deserve MVP but bc writers only care about stats he will get his votes.

Then there is the argument, "he has too much talent in his team", which cost LeBron in his 1st Heat yr. Yet Curry gets 2 when some would say he's one Thompson or Green away from being an annual 5 seed. Don't even talk about this year.

Oh and the voter fatigue fraud that come sup every year. Well LeBron has 4, so let's give it to someone else.....to that I say blow me.

Votes should only be going to LBJ and Harden. Period.

I've said it before, I think LeBron realizes what a bunch of morons the voters are and that's why he doesn't place as high of emphasis on the regular season.

Hate to say it, but the old adage of people being "used to greatness" is very true.

Notice players only enter the MVP discussion once they start averaging numbers that James does every year. Like Harden. Oooooohhh, nice numbers. Shame LeBron averages similar numbers nearly every year.

As for Steph. Yeah, voters are unanimously eating crow.

James in the 4Q was about as close to a one-man wrecking ball as you can get.

JR's two 3's were a necessary help, especially given that Frye and RJ couldn't hit anything.

But it's not a career award. LeBron doesn't get bonus points because he's done this for longer. It's an award for this season, and this season only.

So does Harden not deserve it?

That flopping bitch deserves a Draymond foot to the nuts. :)

Rich your right it is a season award and when is the last season that you would replace LeBron with Harden?

If you honestly think Harden would do a better job replacing LeBron then yes he deserves it but we both know who's the most valuable

LeBron won't get the MVP because his supporting cast is costing him the award... granted, Love and JR were injured a large part of the season. The performance of the Cavs without LeBron on the floor will cost him the MVP. Harden will get MVP votes because of his team's record and his stats. Harden's cast was able to score 45 pts in a quarter with Harden on the bench... could you imagine the Cavs bench doing that?

How stupid is that though? The fact that the team depends on LeBron too much to win games will cost him the MVP... doesn't make sense at all but that's how it will play out with the media.

Look, we all know that LeBron would improve each and every one of those other candidates team record if he replaced them, and by following that argument he deserves MVP. He is the best player in the game and everyone knows that. The poblem is that that isn't what the MVP is awarded upon. the MVP is awarded based on who had the best regular season and while 'Bron has had a bomb-ass season and I would personally vote for him as MVP you have players who have played ridiculously well this year and have done very well with their teams. It doesn't matter that LeBron could do better than them in their situation, because he isn't in their situation. He's on a championship contender and he's pacing himself.

No I don't agree with this at all. LeBron can't go through an entire regular season with a 42% usg like Westbrook has, which would be required to give them a better record. I don't think he has that in him anymore.

And the fact is it's REAL hard to argue LeBron would do better than Harden when Harden's team currently has a better record with LESS talent.

So you're telling me if I put LeBron on the ROckets the Rockets would have a better record?

Because if you say that, you're saying the Rockets, by default, have a better supporting cast than LeBron has right now...and that's total and utter bullshit.
