God has quit on the Clippers.Lol at Paul Pierce
This guy quit on his clippers team
Yea if they're taking on Jeff Green types I'm sure they'll look at Derrick.Orlando has already said that they are going after Derrick. I doubt he will stay given how little Lue is playing him and how little Cavs can afford to pay him.
You aren't the first to suggest this ....

“Before I got there, I looked at Deron as an MVP candidate,” Pierce told ESPN.com’s Jackie MacMullan. “But I felt once we got there, that’s not what he wanted to be. He just didn’t want that.
“I think a lot of the pressure got to him sometimes. This was his first time in the national spotlight. The media in Utah is not the same as the media in New York, so that can wear on some people. I think it really affected him.”

“It was just the guys’ attitudes there. It wasn’t like we were surrounded by a bunch of young guys. They were vets who didn’t want to play and didn’t want to practice. I was looking around saying, ‘What’s this?’ Kevin (Garnett) and I had to pick them up every day in practice.
“If me and Kevin weren’t there, that team would have folded up. That team would have packed it in. We kept them going each and every day.”
What Deron has given to this team is easily replaced by a minimum salary PG.
Silly statement. This season in Dallas [40 games], Deron had an assist percentage of 40.1%. You know how many times LeBron had seasons with an assist percentage of 40 or greater? Two. 2009-2010 @ 41.1% and this season @ 41.1%. That's incredible when you realize how much the team relied on LeBron to create those two seasons. Delly never sniffed greater than 27.
Deron didn't suddenly forget how to play point guard. He's being asked to do things he wasn't brought here to do. I mean wtf is a Kyrie/Deron/LeBron lineup and why is Deron standing in corners?
His offense is also fine imo. His shooting percentages and scoring averages thus far are roughly consistent with his career averages.

It's a fair point, and Deron was also hated amongst his Olympic team members. It's prob not worth rehashing all those stories about Williams and Dwight forming their own clique while Wade, Melo, CP3, and LeBron had their own. And that some guys on the team questioned whether Williams should be on the squad based on his shape....
But I assumed LeBron was cool with the signing and wanted it based on him getting the call....
I'd be curious to see something (an article?) about this as I've never heard it. LeBron said he was very happy to have Deron and they've immediately had great on court chemistry, plus they always sit next to each other when they're both out of the game at the same time.
Deron was oftentimes better than CP3 on those teams as well simply because of his size and the physicality on the perimeter of FIBA.
