Round 1 Game 1 | Cavs vs Pacers | April 15, 2017 | 3:00 PM EST

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I guess a few of you guys have forgotten have the Playoffs. See that smile on LeBron's dial at the end of the game? He has not a worry in the world.

You get Game 1 out the way, you earn the W (one way or another), you get yourself two days rest, watch film and come out better to earn yourself a W in Game 2.

Now I'm going to devour seven or eight Easter eggs because you kids are driving me crazy!

How does McMillan justify having Lance out there at the end

We will make adjustments and see how game 2 goes.

I thought the team got tired in the 4th, which made their choice to go ISO on offense that quarter more frustrating. They actually looked more competent on defense, rather than offense, on some possessions going down the stretch, which was unexpected.

Bron and Kyrie both missed some 4th qtr bunnies they normally make. It's the only reason the game was in reach for the Pacers in the final two minutes.

Think that's also a result of not playing for a week, plus the transition into the playoffs.

I think some of the doom and gloom in here is a bit out of control.. if we make a normal percentage at the free throw line this is relatively easy win. I agree with LeBron that more defensive effort was there today. Hopefully some more of that can be cleaned up. Lance played over his head in the 4th quarter particularly. Seriously.. when did we as Cavs/Cleveland fans take winning a playoff game so for granted? Remember... every game against the Pistons last season was close. Pacers are not a bad team.

One major point of concern for me was JR Smith. He looks horrible. I am almost to the point of putting Korver in the starting group and having him play ~30 minutes. Seeing the gravity that Korver has... man. Pacers are terrified of him.

I believe we win going away in game 2.

6 rebounds isn't going to cut it from LeBron.

Hate to say this, but for the Cavs to get to the finals as healthy/rested as possible (only way we have a shot to beat the west) is is LeBron averages a triple double throughout the playoffs or at least close to it. He's done so before. 43 mins and only 6 boards is not enough. Has to be better.
Love is our big time rebounder. Need more from him. Damn good first half from him but he flopped in the second.

Still think Pacers are going to be more demoralized with outcome than Cavs will be disappointed with how they played. Game 2 should be a blowout.
I agree with your first sentence. Not sure about the second one (tho I hope it's right!)

Not impressed. Thank our lucky stars Dion got injured, Miami would have definitely taken that game. Pacers are a one man show so as subpar as we can play it'll be over in 4-5.

Wow lot of negative nancys round here. Its the playoffs, every win counts. PG had a heck of a game and really stepped up, Lance stepped up and we won despite laying an egg at the foul line and giving up a lot of offensive boards. Each win is a learning experience and so they have made the first step.

Hats off to kyrie with two key hustle plays

I don't how anyone can play with Paul George. He was yelling at Miles for missing that shot. That's a really poor attitude.
I don’t blame him. He’s been let down by underperforming teammates his entire career.
