Look, I didn't see the second the half for superstitious reasons, but if he continued not putting LBJ on George, that will be his big coaching win this series. Close games don't matter if we win all of them while not having LBJ guard George. So, props to Lie for that.
Sure, Lue deserved blame and credit tonight, for the obvious reasons. The inbound play with 5 secs on the clock that got LBJ an easy layup was a thing of beauty. Also used TOs very well in the 2nd half.
JR and Shump guarded George for the entire 2nd half, with Shump taking him most of the 4th. LBJ covered him occasionally on switches, but George was giving up the ball more quickly. I thought the team defense and team rebounding in the 4th was an even bigger factor than Shump solo (though he was capable enough).
