#25: ATH, Jabrill Peppers

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I know many don't listen, but 850 has Sabrina back on. She's straight lambasting Peppers. Said he's a pot-head who's high every day. Doing moli and "lean" codeine syrup. She's gone as far as to say he was hungover and still messed up at the combine. Peppers is going to go after this girl...

She's probably right, the Browns should just cut him now to save us the heartache.

They literally all took drug tests at the combine, and rookies also get tested. If he was "high every day", he'd have popped positive then, or will pop positive before the season begins.

Who the fuck is Sabrina? Another crazy trash bag broad?
Crazy trash bag is an understatement

On May 7, 2015, Parr arrived home from a basketball playoff game, and her husband, Antonio Davis (“Davis”), was laying on the bed. Parr tossed her purse onto the bed next to Davis, and went into the bathroom. Two phones fell out of her purse onto the bed next to Davis. Davis, who was unaware of the second phone, began reading text messages that led him to believe that Parr was having an affair. According to Davis, upon finding the text messages, he decided to leave the home. As he was walking towards the door, Davis testified that Parr charged at him using foul language. Parr scratched, punched, and pulled Davis. Davis continued to try and leave the home. Parr grabbed a trophy and hit Davis in the back of head causing him to bleed. Davis asked Parr to take him to the hospital. Instead, Parr threw his keys over the garage into the woods, got into her car, and drove away.

WKNR has a thing for domestic abusers, I guess.

Ohhh... don't go getting all high and mighty with us.

She knows.

SHE

KNOWS
.

Oh, the girl was clueless. The NFL has people who are observing when tests are done; Parr says the NFL players have other people take the test for them "all the time". My guess is she is getting no attention from Peppers; on the outside looking in at the social scene she's trying to cling to.

FWIW this woman seems to be involved in a lot of drama.

Braylon Edwards fights. Accusing Brandon McDonald of assaulting her. Domestic assault of her husband.

Whether she's credible or not...

I am just curious as to case law surrounding things like this. I haven't the slightest.

We have Hogan suing Gawker to death, and then we have other things like this, where if these allegations aren't true, is it legal? I mean, there's a logical argument that this hurts his brand - can he do anything about it? Sue for discovery?

Does anyone have any idea about what his options are?

I'd like to know what the legal outlook is as well. Where's Roger Cossack? :chuckle:

3 levels of citizens when it comes to slander.

Private (all of us)
Public (athletes)
Politician

A private can sue for slander at almost anything that is false and caused harm, Politician can never, thus all the lies, and Public as limited rights.

Basically if there is a grain of truth but it was stretched, very difficult to sue for slander.

Further, and actual loss has to happen. If Peppers still gets a contract, this was said after the draft, and no one believes the bitch, even if she made it up, there is no financial harm, thus no award for slander.

She also said that Joe Thomas is probably doing "lean" too

I can remember the first time she came on the air back in the day, and I immediately found her out of place, obnoxious and not a good personality.

She would turn the show into some bullshit KISS FM sort of thing, and we'd be subjected to her jersey chasing antics.

Goldhammer has been wanting to chase this guy out of town since day 1, making up excuses about how he can't play...all this shit.

Sports Talk in this town is hot trash. I do hope she gets her ass fired for saying this shit. She sucks at her job and in general seems like a horrible person.

Reghi called her a gossip monger after the Braylon/Lebron's buddy incident.....8 years later, Reghi wasn't wrong
