#25: ATH, Jabrill Peppers

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
It was clearly a joke when she mentioned Thomas.

She was not joking while she was trashing Peppers.

I'm pretty convinced she was. Seemed like as the segment dragged on she was dragging it out in a joking manner.

Literally she should have been fired for having awful humor anyways. Win-win.

I only disagree because I'm fairly confident that it wasn't a joke. She was very defensive about it on Twitter, then deleted the messages. She tripled down when Rizzo gave her chances to reel it back.

Best thing about this is that she's claiming she was misquoted. As someone on twitter pointed out, it was her own voice on the radio. How do you misquote someone when it is their own voice?

Fake news is a workable excuse for anyone these days, as you well know.

She's got a future in the White House. :chuckle:

Reghi called her a gossip monger after the Braylon/Lebron's buddy incident.....8 years later, Reghi wasn't wrong
Turns out whatever he has under his hair plugs isn't too bad.

She said "out of context"

It was suppose to be a shitty joke.

Out of context generally means a printed quote was taken out of a larger context in an interview or discussion that was ignored. Essentially quoting piece meal.

The entire segment was on audio...if she was joking as you say she would have said so on Twitter (but would still remain fired).

Can't take an entire audio segment out of context where her co-hosts are trying to get her to back down and redact it.

It wasn't a joke, all of the context was there. I listened to it live, so I heard all of the context in which she said it. Not a joke; she tripled down, "just remember I'm telling you this when he can't get through the year."

If she was saying this about Johnny Manziel after the 2014 draft would she have been fired?

The one thing i am taking out of this is that Peppers is in stage one because of a diluted test?

That seems crazy. Now if he doesnt do drugs no big deal, but why punish someone for taking to much water?

It was a diluted negative, it happens. I just hate the NFL and their drug policies, so hypocritical.

Probably not because he had a reputation for that and it was true.
