I know everybody likes to poke fun at ESPN's BPI, and 538's predictions/odds, but it's not their fault the Cavs broke the system.

All of these models are based on regular season performance, and the assumption that each playoff team is actually trying during the regular season. The Cavs clearly were not.

Now, nobody is forcing them to keep advertising these predictions, but the Cavs tanking the regular season, and playing like a completely different team in the playoffs should not be an indictment on any model.

Good info. On a side note, how are these models when used NOT on the Cavs? What does their accuracy look like?

This is why I hate the Celtics, they can't take a beat down like a man and resort to dirty shit, doing unnatural stuff and "scrappy play" (lol).

from Olynyk/Smart/Croweder to IT and the rest of their bums, they just can't accept that a team is much better than them, so they just gotta do this shit for whatever reason, This is why I wanted to play the Wizards. All we need to do is finish this series healthy against these dirty scrubs.
Anyone have video of this? It's hard to tell what's going on.

Let's just take Game 2 and get this over with before this junk team tries to injure somebody again.

What I loved from game 1 was how LeBron totally destroyed Steven's whole defensive gameplan for the whole series. I seriously think Stevens thought hed single cover LeBron all series because in the regular season it worked with most teams. What people dont realize is playing LeBron 7 times(4 most likely) is mentally exhausting and for the guy guarding him its extremely tiring. Bron single handedly made Iggy useless last finals because he wore him down so much his back basically gave out.

What I also like is that Kyrie is facilitating and that Love is just balls out aggressive. Hes truely part of the big 3 now. Hes gonna be an x factor against Golden State because if he gives Draymond Green issues thatll keep Green away from LeBron and Kyrie

Here's a video where Marcus Smart received a flopping warning (Smart was flopping like a fish all over the court last night). Not to mention, just watch the angry elf pulling down on Nene. There's a reason why Isaiah Thomas is the WORST defender in the NBA. He is a total liability on the floor and plays dirty because he can't actually compete. I really hope the Celtics get swept because that's what they deserve.

The only real surprise from last night is that the Celtics didn't overtly try to injure anyone, although Marcus Smart was pushing the envelope. Boston has always been a dirty team and when they get cornered, the worst comes out....
Olynyk did try to arm lock TT on a box out... kinda similar to the one that injured Love...

On the bright side, they Celts might be dirty, but at least there won't be a big adjustment going into the NBA Finals, where the likely winner is just as dirty (if not worse)...

I told everyone that no way TT gets his arm pulled out inn that situation and I was laughed at!

There were two things I was sure the Cavs would do better than Boston in this series: 1) Shoot the 3 ball, and 2) Hit the glass

We just dominated a game where Boston came out ahead in both of those categories.

umm the cavs out rebounded boston, and at half time it was by some huge amount, i want to say 10 or 15. Granted it ended up just 4, but part of that was the huge let down the cavs had.
