I'm not usually this petty- okay, I am, and I'm not ashamed, but I've been trolling Celtics boards (just reading) and I can't get enough of it. Their commentary is hysterical.

Most of the Celtics fans I’ve encountered have had no delusions about winning this series, they’re just happy they got the #1 pick.

Good info. On a side note, how are these models when used NOT on the Cavs? What does their accuracy look like?
not great, because it doesnt take into account matchups (for example).

You should check out Celtics Talk.

What I loved from game 1 was how LeBron totally destroyed Steven's whole defensive gameplan for the whole series. I seriously think Stevens thought hed single cover LeBron all series because in the regular season it worked with most teams. What people dont realize is playing LeBron 7 times(4 most likely) is mentally exhausting and for the guy guarding him its extremely tiring. Bron single handedly made Iggy useless last finals because he wore him down so much his back basically gave out.

What I also like is that Kyrie is facilitating and that Love is just balls out aggressive. Hes truely part of the big 3 now. Hes gonna be an x factor against Golden State because if he gives Draymond Green issues thatll keep Green away from LeBron and Kyrie

So, is it obvious now that the Celtics will double LeBron, and is there any concern that that would WORK, to some degree?

That would mean LeBron facilitating more, and others being counted on the make shots. When LeBron scores 40, Love and Tristan were enough, as compliments. If LeBron need to distribute the ball, then Kyrie, JR, Deron, and Korver will need to hit shots... We hope that they are ready to do that...

The Celtics fans on reddit seem pretty cool actually. They make good jokes. And actually give LBJ a lot of respect.

umm the cavs out rebounded boston, and at half time it was by some huge amount, i want to say 10 or 15. Granted it ended up just 4, but part of that was the huge let down the cavs had.

Celts also shot only 32% from three; Cavs 36%. Would be awesome if the Cavs actually came out HOT from three, tomorrow. Cavs on fire from 3 + big advantage on the boards = Good Night, Irene.

When you get the chance, paste in some snippets.

It's food for the soul, like frolicking children, and a walk through tall corn in the late summer sun...

We had more rebounds because they missed more shots. They ended up with more ORB, a category the Cavs will most likely dominate in the next 3 games.

they had 1 more offensive rebound because as you said they missed a lot more shots. the cavs still out rebounded them. shit the cavs had 15 more rebounds at half time.

The cavs through 3 quarters dominated the celtics all the way around, that included at rebounding and 3 point shooting. Even after 4 the cavs still beat the celtics on the boards, and shot a better from the 3 point line.

you flat out said "We just dominated a game where Boston came out ahead in both of those categories." expect boston didnt come out a head in either one of those categories. Which is my point

Ok? They had more offensive rebounds, which was my point. They also had more 3's. Plus, regardless of how many shots they miss, I don't anticipate them being even close in the remaining games.

Down in Key West for the week. Wearing my Lebron jersey last night. Surprisingly a lot of Floridians pulling for the Cavs

So the national hate for the Celics and Warriors must be decently high

I live in Mass and this is the only time of year I listen to sport talk radio because it's sooooo good.

Each show has 3 guys.

The Depressed Realist whose completely moved on to the draft and next year. Spitballing when he'd trade Smaaaahhhtt. But still thinks there is a chance for the lucky Irish!!

The Wishful Thinker that is pretty sure Olynik has another 27 point game in him and IT is about to have a growth spurt and Dennis Johnson said they looked "as determined as he's seen the boys."

The Critic who likes to throw fire at everyone. "The good new about the refs not thinking Lebron is capable of committing fouls is that it is allowing Crowder to never become the man he was supposed to be...."

The Best.
