One word. BEAST!

He played like a beats today. Rebounded and boxed out like a man possessed. It was like a man against boys when he was battling with Celtics for the boards. He isn't going to be a Kevin Garnett or Dennis Rodman on the defensive end, but he gave his all and acted as a solid rim-protector in the 2nd half.

He is a plus defender. He's honestly one of our most reliable defenders. His improvement on defense from when he first got to Cleveland to now is remarkable

People usually talk about Kyrie having room to grow while Love more or less being what he is and I think that's dead wrong. Love has been continuously improving on defense. The beginning of the 3rd quarter Before our offense started revving up Love was making deflections, blocks, and getting his length in the way of the passing lanes to make sure Boston couldn't extend their lead

When LeBron went out for his 4th foul it became the Kyrie and Love show. Couldn't be prouder of how both responded

I was gonna post something similar but I'll just quote you so people can read your post a 2nd time.

We need this Kevin in the Finals. 20/20 a game and steal the MVP.

None of what is happening with Love is surprising. And it should only get better moving forward.

- 1st full year under Lue (we know Love's struggles under Blatt)
- 1st full playoff season (so far) after having a summer of conditioning and being mostly healthy during the regular season

Love was a physical/mental wreck the previous two years. Now he's starting to find his groove and his confidence is soaring.

I'm really happy for him. He's been through a lot of junk the last two years and now he's coming out on top.

Love is a star. And it's finally starting to shine through.

Updated Love series stats through Game 4

25/13/3 on 51/56/86

He also was the second-best defender by DRTG coming into Game 4 of rotation players in the series (Deron Williams was #1).

Realistically, you can't play any better than Love is playing right now. He is totally dominating and silencing all doubters.

Absolutely unreal how improved he is on defense. Has never been and never will be a shotblocker but he moves his feet on the perimeter as well Tristan? Crazy combine that he's pretty stout in the post he's turned himself into a plus defender
