i pray that Love is as aggressive against the Warriors. i'd be so disappointed if he disappears again. we really cant afford that. when he's confident is when he's at his best. outside of Lebron i feel he's the key to a championship.

Bingo people keep saying he needs to show up vs GS and the truth is if GS wants to shut him down they can but it will come at a cost.

GS seems determined to not let Love beat them and if it means low scoring with more team high plus minus games and victorys will any of us be disappointed

That could work last year. This year we NEED Love to show up anyway offensively. Its ok when Harris Barnes is bricking everything on the other end.

Every series is different. Love is being featured here because of the matchup. Kyrie is actually taking a little bit of a backseat in this series (although he was efficient last night and played well).
GS is the best perimeter team in the NBA- the open three will not be as available for Love and I assume guys like JR and SHUMP will be given opportunities due to rotations.
Love will contribute with D and rebounding and, perhaps Lue will run some plays to get him on the block with Clay or another guard on him.
Can't wait for that series. Will be fantastic.

He did not really disaprear. He had a good 17/13 Game 1 and then had the Concussion in Game 2. Was out in Game 3 had a decent Game 4 while still not really ready.. then was in unfair Foul Trouble in Games 5 and 6 and had a great defensive and Rebounding Game in Game 7(wich also led to his improvement on defense this year because he realised he can be a vital Player without Scoring).

Disapearing would be averaging 11/7 in over 30 Minutes without any injuries etc..

I expect Love to at least do 16/11 against GSW. If they disrespect him because of last years Finals maybe even more..

Exciing isn't the word I would have picked. Nauseating or disppointing would have been better choices to describe what his return would cause. There is nothing positive that him returning would result in.

Straight posting him up doesn't really work because, even if Draymond isn't guarding him, the Warriors wings are GREAT at digging when he puts the ball on the floor. Where Love can be effective is on pick and pops, and plays at the elbow or 18 feet and out.

We will need physicality to beat GSW if we get there. Love has to be a big part of that along with Tristan.

I feel like this is true for former Love. But this year (specifically in the playoffs) he has been abusing wings that get switched onto him. Also thing they have been getting him the ball in those situations.

Yep. Switch up and get Thompson or Iggy on him in the post. Let him go to work.
He can be a huge pain in their ass if Lue continues to use him.

They're good at trapping so the way you attack with Love against a wing is make sure he dives and then gets deep position either for a short jump hook or where the switch causes wider lanes. Worst come to worst he'll have good rebounding position.

Once concern could be McGee that guy has been killing it on dump offs when Aldridge has tried to help. Cavs defenders are more mobile so hopefully he won't have as much of an impact

We are GREAT at guarding Warriors dump offs. Here's hoping love is willing to get up high to blow any forced lobs. There will be no easy defensive assignments this series. Maybe except Zaza.
