In 2017, I think the series will once again rest on what kind of Lebron we get and what kind of usage he has. If he shoots 55% percent with 25 plus field goal attempts to go along with 8 assist and 8 rebounds then there really isn't any kind of performance by the Warriors that is likely to overcome that kind of thing. Lebron is pretty much the only player in the world that can have a 40-10-10 game on 55% shooting.

However, if the Warriors make his very human like in 2015, then I don't see how we can win. There's no way we will defend well enough to win a defense first series.

Lol

In 2015, Lebron was HORRIBLY inefficient during the whole playoffs. He didn't have one game against the Warriors in 2015 where he shot above 45 percent. While he scored a ton of points and we grinded out those two wins with hustle and D, the Warriors still prevailed because Igoudala was good enough to stop him ENOUGH.

In 2016, lebron was atrocious in games 1 and 2. He also took less than 25 shots in both games. In Cavs victories, games 3, 5, and 6 Lebron took 25 shots with a field goal percentage of 52% or higher. That is INCREDIBLE stuff. The Cavs got very lucky that game 7 came down to a total war of attrition where are all of the major scoring stars outside of Kyrie were having very inefficient games. Thompson, Lebron, and Curry were all terrible. Kyrie was very good and Dreymond Green had the game of his life to keep the game from basically being a comfortable Cavs win.

True.. good that last Game made it clear ... we have God Mode Lebron(First 10 Playoff Games) back. With him playing the Game on this level i doubt GSW can do anything about him. Add to that a Kyrie that will want to torch them.. and a Kev that will want to prove he can be a Superstar in the Finals..
Then we have guys like Deron and Kyle who will be extremly motivated..

I think this is a rare case where the whole thing "GSW wants the Cavs because of unfinished buisness" might not matter because we are not lacking in terms of motivation and drive.

The Warriors have the talent to win in 4 or 5. We don't have the talent to win in anything but 6 or 7. That's just the score and I think LeBron and Lue have come to terms with that.

Now the series is dependent on what LeBron we get. In a sense what LeBron we get could decide which Love and Kyrie we get as well. We all know TT is gonna rape any GS big man. That's a given but it's the only given imo.

We're gonna need guys like Korver and Smith to play D as good as they shoot the 3.

I'm not gonna lie my beginning of season prediction has the winning.

But my HEART is telling me we can win in 6 if we get god mode Lebron. I'm MOST confident in the fact that I know 100% when shit gets hard we will be the more poised team under pressure and that comes from Lue. When it gets tough for GS they lose composure. But when your winning 70 games there's no need to keep bringing it up in the media. By June 10 if the media isn't bringing up Golden State's maturity then I know we are in a shitty position.

America wants us to save basketball once again. For the culture. Fuck the Warriors.

What's wrong with Alabama, Tennessee, Missouri, and Montana?

How about this throwback, for the lulz:

BUT TEH DREIGHMUNZ!! AND BOWGET AND IGGIEZ BACK AND STUFF!

(I don't even think if you neutralize all of the injury and suspension factors to their 3rd/4th/5th/later options as well as ours, that it accounts for a 15-point Game 5 swing regardless, to say nothing of how being able to stay healthy and not-suspended and thus on the court are pretty much the most important qualities a player can have.)

Blaming Game 6 on the refs for Curry fouling out is also comical given that it was a 14 point game and he didn't foul out until the game was 90% over.

I expect Cavs in 6. If they had home court, I'd say 5.

They'll steal one of the road games, win both at home, then finish it when they return to Cleveland. I think it'll look very similar to the series they lost against Orlando in 2009. It'll be a 6 game series that was never really all that close.

LeBron is simply too good and Golden State doesn't have a defensive answer for him. Iggy is far past his prime, and Bogut is no longer waiting at the rim.

Not only is Durant a coward. Every time he opens his mouth up, he sure sounds pretty damn ignorant.

Durant should just stop talking. He was the same one telling fans to stop going to the games if they don't like what is taking place. He's too stupid to understand he'd be out of a job if they stopped going.

Now, he's talking about "don't blame me" that there's not much parity. Like, wtf? Why are you bringing up Orlando and Brooklyn? We get it, there are shitty teams in the league that have nothing to do with you.

There was one team in the way of GS getting to the finals, and it was the team you previously were on. To play ignorance, just shows how truly delusional and insecure this imbecile is.

God I hope we beat this team. I've never seen a bunch of self-entitled, whiny, and arrogant dick heads.

Random as shit.

But I still can't believe the Cavs lost Game 1 last year. They fucking lost to Shaun Livingston.

The Cavs just played absolutely awful. Both LeBron and Kyrie just did not play well at all in those games.

I think that was the most frustrating part. If those two played better, we don't come back 0-2. Actually Love was pretty good, we played pretty good defense, just Kyrie and LB didn't play like they were capable of.

Once they did, it was all she wrote. They were clearly the best players in the series. Just the rest of the world was shocked by how good Kyrie really was.

Warriors coming in cocky and arrogant again. Draymond said they are even more relaxed this year

Dont really watch much espn/tv these days. Whats the general consensus regarding our chances?

Lue was too late switch someone else on Livingston that game.

We are obviously two talented teams. Warriors may have more talent, but it's whatever. This is all about the mental edge imo. Are Warriors going to play with a vengeance wanting revenge, or will they crumble under the pressure of expectation and have PTSD from the 3-1 lead? Will the Cavs play with an edge proving our ring wasn't some fluke or will we be complacent because of what we accomplished last year?

I don't doubt both teams really want to win. But uncharacteristic things can happen when the pressure is turned all the way up. Or your true character comes out, which ever way you want to see it.
