The Paul George Safari: LeBron Strikes Back!

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Sounds like you guys are finally ready for reality.

Only Cavs move in this offseason is obtaining Melo in 3 team deal while trading out Love.

If we want any chance at keeping Lebron past 2018 this is the deal we will need to make.

Its the deal we will make.

As I told you all days ago.

I doubt there is a worse post written today than this one, and considering it's draft day, I'm making a bold prediction myself. Its awful because it requires a complete lack of understanding in salary cap, salary ramifications, and Melo's current value. Plus you throw in a pretentious tone for some reason. Good luck in your quest for someone to write a worse post!

Spoiler Alert: It's not going to happen

They could easily flip Love for other future assets if they wanted to imo

For sure. They could flip him at the deadline after he plays great all year and make bank and probably get some good picks.

It is crazy how being the 2nd best team in the league, that lost to maybe the most overly talented team of all time makes your players so worthless on the trade market because you got beat in the finals.

Trade Love for Delly, Now before you think this is stupid, hear my out.

How many championships do you have without Delly? zero.
How many championships do you have with Delly? one.

Conclusion, We need some big balls and heart on our team, and Love is useless, according to the Pacers he has the value of a garbage can, so at least lets get something out of him, Return the Delly!

Did I win?

Trade Kevin Love for DeMarcus Cousins / Hope Phil Jackson continues to huff paint and does a buyout of Melo

Starting 5:
Kyrie
JR
Melo
LeBron
Cousins

This is contingent on Lebron playing the 4 which, I thought, he had no interest in doing.

Right now we have to remain patient. A lot of teams are trying to maximize their trade returns and are still being unrealistic on what they can actually receive. Hoping the landscape changes when the dust settles after draft night

Yes, patience is the name of the game. The Cavs have two fallback options if neither George nor Butler work out, a Melo buyout and trading for Cousins.

Rockets are trading Beverly for cap space, not Shumpert. You need to find a 4th team like Minnesota to take back Shump..

Even then, I wouldn't do this deal if I'm the Cavs.. makes no sense.

Isn't Beverly already on a cap friendly deal?

I think it makes a lot of sense...we get a defensive pest PG, a shot blocker/rebounder and another offensive threat.

If we could do this and add Tony Allen I think we would be very well set

One of the best.. but they want max space.

Makes no sense because the deal centers around trading Love for Melo... Why would we do that?

I'm not so sure about that.. Tony Allen and Beverly aren't going to be defending Durant and Draymond; and they're not going to stop Klay from shooting. You're targeting Steph with those guys, and I'm not so sure that should be our goal.

And I'm not opposed to getting either player; but I don't think those two guys are game-changers.

And again, it doesn't make sense to trade Love for Melo.
