i take it this means you dont want miller pitching in back to back games?

I believe they are trying it out to make sure he can do it in the playoffs. Becuse the indians are going to need that

Yeah I just don't see the rush.

If I remember correctly overall this team is number 1 in defense while KC is number 2 in overall defense, so I am not worried about it. Bruce isn't a long term guy here, but they rarely do make errors out there regardless.

Errors aren't that relevant when looking at outfielders. Now that Zimmer is out, Bruce is the only one who advanced defensive stats like. Guyer tests out as average. Brantley, Jackson, Chisenhall, Almonte all test out as well below average. Who knows what Kipnis is capable of. Pretty clearly out biggest weakness, which is "good" since it's the least important of the "5 criteria" I've outlined

Elite pitching across the board
Balanced, potent lineup
Dominant infield with Gold Glove caliber players at 4 of the 5 positions
Fantastic, experienced coaching

I mean we won games with Belle and Ramirez out there who many on this board could have easily been better fielders than. I am not worried, but would be a good reason to add an Allen to the playoff roster since he can really field.

Also most of the guys you have mentioned are actually average in the Corners normally, but none of them are average in CF. Brantley hasn't had good stats in LF, but he didn't make any errors either and that's all that really matters. As long as you make all the routine plays and keep the ball infront of you then they will be fine. We don't have heavy pitch to contact guys outside of Tomlin, Otero and Merritt for the most part.

Not a fucking chance.

Aka it was a joke for the most part, but they were not all that great of OFs but we were able to win a fair amount of games with them in the OF.

Tribe going with a spring training lineup today....

Salazar roughly on pace for 100 pitches through 3 innings or so of work...

Francona said before the game if Salazar has a good start here (which is dicey given this first inning) that he's the guy they prefer to be the No. 4 starter in the postseason with Clevinger going to the bullpen.

That's disappointing to hear considering how Clev has pitched this season. He should be #4.

Salazarbage.

Rate my nickname.
