No it was the new NEW YORK ownership that wanted to keep and limited his choices, Or This is a business with players predating their fate. He was always a consideration just we never had the right parts and now we do. That Nets Pick better not go though. Osman and Zizic plus any two of Jefferson and Shump and or Fry could do it. Again this is called leverage by the Knicks. If not then you know what Carmelo thinks and does so go act smart somewhere else.

Bring him on the way people speak we have this year... so. All that said I am note sure. I would give up a our first and second this year with Osman and Fry and maybe Jefferson or Shump. NY might want Felder and a future second. This could get complicated but we could get Melo with out giving anything up of current loss.

Those picks could be used as well to trade, I have no idea who the new GM of the Knicks is but I am sure can pry Melo with picks and young players with some vets.

the internet is like a giant machine for producing asshole-dom. One reason Trump was elected is that his entire persona is in perfect synch with the internet while Hillary feels more like a black-and-white TV news program from 1965.

Lol. Read my post above, but this is not the first time Melo has had us on his list. We almost got him at the deadline and near the draft.

He tried to make a power play to get himself to Houston for 2 months, because Paul/Morey convinced him to...it didn't work, and now the Cavs are back on the list.

It's okay to be wrong, man.
 
Lebron is gone.

This was our last chance to make a run this year.

Can't wait to watch this team build around the 28th pick in the draft that we couldn't give up for Carmelo. Added bonus of watching Cedi and Zizic on our next string of Finals appearances. /sarcasm off.
