Cavs Acquire Mo Williams; Trade Joe Smith & Amon Ones

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Found this interesting:

In an interview he was also quoted in saying:

"They might move me somewhere else," Jones said in a telephone interview. "I will resurrect my career again similar to what I did in Miami and Milwaukee. I'm in better shape now than I was in the last two years. I want to find someone who really believes in me." -- The News-Herald

Too bad Damon won't even get a shot to play in Milwaukee. He's 4th string PG behind Ridnour, Lue, and Sessions. Poor guy.

He'll get playing time if he deserves it.

But Damon just isn't a good enough player in the NBA to be counted on even as a back up. The only time he'll get in is if they are crushing someone, someone is crushing them or they need a three pointer.

Damon does have a superstar ego though.

Well I'm just basing that off what the Milwaukee GM said. Their PG rotation would be Ridnour, Lue, Sessions. Gonna be hard for Damon to even earn some decent PT.

Damon and Lue are similar players too. If only Damon found a way to get on the Kings, I'm sure he'd play.

Wait what? Damon and Lue are similar in what sense? Maybe they're similar in that they play for the Bucks, but beyond that there is zero similarity. Maybe I misunderstood you, please steer me in the right direction.

Yea two verrrrrry different players here.
Lue is a very good defender who shut down AI during en route to the LAkers 4-1 victory of the sixers in the finals a few years back. Offensively he is nothing speical, but much more of a slasher type than a spot up shooter

DJ blows at D, can;t drive, but can knock down the 3

Great move for Mo and the Cavs. You guys are not back in 50 win territory. Mo is a perfect fit at pg with this team. Cleveland's interior defense (and Lebron's help D) will help to mask Mo's matador defense on the perimeter.

The Biggest bonus for the Bucks is losing Mo's contract. Now only Bogut's deal extends beyond 2011 when Redd, RJ and Gadzuric all come off of the books.

Ridnour is not in Mo's league, but the Bucks are high on young floor general Ramon Sessions who late last season proved to be an assist machine.

U better hope your team is doing well by the trade deadline..I see another PLAYER U might lose to us..

Redd? Personally, I don't even want him anymore. We seen how the Mo/Redd backcourt did in Milwaukee, and it wasn't good. Even if Mo's defense isn't great, we can somewhat get away with it because it's just one person. However, having two players in our backcourt that have suspect defense will hurt us, in my opinion. Not to mention we should be targetting someone younger then Redd, and someone who doesn't have such a huge contract.

I was being sarcastic to him..and I never mentioned Redd's name;)

I agree, we need a stud big man, or a defensive sg. I am more thinking if this team comes out like gang busters, holding and making no major trades might be ok.
