2017 Browns Regular Season

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I really hope that Hue is either intentionally losing games, or the front office hired him knowing he'd fail to prove that they didn't need a traditional football guy and this will be their excuse to hire someone young and smart for the job next spring.
Don’t know if anyone else has reported this, but this is Payton Manning’s team if he wants it acording to some Browns insiders. Who knows if true.

If Peyton Manning replaces Sashi and Paul, I'm out.

I've got little issues with Sashi and Paul so far. If any, its not getting the rookie QB a better supporting cast. Then again, your #1 pick from last year at WR being out and Kenny Britt playing like he is is pretty unpredictable.

Chief is emerging. TD's in three games. Mismatch for the defense. Duke is a weapon as well. I keep going back to execution. Ronde Barber mentioned it during the broadcast. On player where our receivers were catching the ball their footwork was trash. Their field awareness is really low. They are being put in position but not executing. One f the reasons why I can understand some of the mistakes is the inexperience.

I wouldn't mind if they brought him in in addition to the current front office as a sort of "face of the franchise" to give us legitimacy. But letting him take over and clean out the current front office would just put us back on the path of failure for another several years.

It takes front office executives decades to work their way through the FO and learn how to run a team. I seriously hope they don’t just hand it to manning without any experience. There’s a big difference between throwing a football and running an organization.

I feel like it was a good weekend for the Browns:

They outyarded the Jets by 200 yards. That's a pretty important metric, given that Jamie Collins was out.

Garrettesaurus looked fantastic in limited snaps. This guy is going to demand a double, so some other players will have to step up.

The Texans not only lost, but they lost 3 starters on defense. I am unsure how long the safety is injured but Mercilus is done for the year and Watt will be out probably for a month.

Njoku looks like he's going to be a player. I don't know about the run blocking tho.

It's time for HULKAMANIA because motherfuckin' Hogan went 16-19 and over 10 yards/attempt. You guys can talk about his "hitch" or whatever the F you have convinced yourself of, but 16-19 is damn good, and that's 3 games in a row where his completion %age has increased.

Most importantly, during the game that I didn't watch, I took my daughter to her first ever drop-off birthday party, I cut down a tree, removed a couple of bushes and lots of branches, made a fire (s'mores happened later), went grocery shopping, picked my daughter up, put away groceries, snaked the shower drain, and prepped dinner. @The Oi

Really pumped about the shower drain snaking. Bet you felt like a fucking man cranking all that woman hair out of there.

Is it me or is getting that nasty shit out of there oddly satisfying?

Totally. I like to tie it in a bow and put it under my wife’s pillow.

Yes. I have a snake that goes on the drill (do they all do that?) and then you hold it like a fucking tommy gun to get it to unwind... What I struggled with and failed at this weekend was trying to fix the chainsaw. It's such a stupid project, but it's now become like an obsession of sorts. The fucking cord won't wind back in (and yes, it's wound the right way). Now I have to take that motherfucker apart again, and it's so annoying to get back together.
All for this old fucking chainsaw because I don't want an electric piece of shit one and I am too cheap to buy another gas one. And I just realized that I have 0 tolerance for the look of evergreen bushes and we have like 4 in our front yard that the chainsaw would be perfect for. Fuck.

Since we bought our house, I have planted zero things and torn down more than I can count. Chainsawed a monstrosity of a hedge when we first moved in and it was glorious. Now I just prune and use my hedge trimmer which is somewhat fun but nowhere near as fun as a chainsaw.

We will likely build a house in a couple years (don’t anticipate anything we will love in the price range we are at) and I am dreading having to plant anything around it. I’m thinking about having a yard that’s all concrete.

He is out for the whole year. Season ending surgery.

Don't get me started on the last owners' landscaping. I think they were never outside and that's why they didn't care, whereas I consider the patio, deck, and lawn as 3 additional "rooms" to my house, and they are my favorite rooms. I like doing outdoor shit too, so removing things seems easy enough, but I am not very confident about what to add.
