2017 Browns Regular Season

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Hue/Sashi now 1-20

Pretty fucking bad. I guess you can call that obvious tanking.

By the way, trade Joe Thomas to the highest bidder, get him off this godforsaken rusted toilet shit franchise.

I think Hue's decison making is just terrible.

Going for it on 4th downs, challenges, playcalling, and timeout use.

He's horrible at clock management.

I mean he's 1-20.

I'm just not sure how you can justify keeping him at this point.

Really disappointed because I thought he could turn it around.

He's just terrible with managing timeouts. Burns them way too early, then has none to stop the clock late.

I didn't mind going for it on 4th instead of kicking the field goal. But changing his mind and burning a timeout was a killer.

Exactly. Instantly knowing if a coach is going to go for it on 4th and short should be something that's ingrained into the team. If they can catch a team off guard it helps so much. Good teams just know when they will go for it and it isn't a question of which play they will go to.

I may have been wrong about Kizer. Looks beyond awful.

I fucken hate Sundays. At least we got the Indians tonight. You can see plain as day Kizer is not ready.

I really hope that Hue is either intentionally losing games, or the front office hired him knowing he'd fail to prove that they didn't need a traditional football guy and this will be their excuse to hire someone young and smart for the job next spring.

I really hope this team takes the Brett Brown approach with Hue. Just hire a coordinator that can take care of the play calling then see how Hue does.

The people who want Hue and Sashi out of town are not seeing the forrest through the trees. Do you want to go back to making win now moves like signing fucking Donte Whitner and Karlos Dansby? Or maybe shift through the Mike Pettine's of NFL to find a coach willing take this god forsaken job? It's straight nonsense that will take us nowhere for another decade.

I definitely don't want the team to fire the front office so soon into this rebuild, but it's getting increasingly difficult to defend Hue when week after week he seems totally in over his head.

Now, would I be willing to have the team hire a competent offense coordinator and see if that helps next year? Sure. That's what we call a compromise. It gives Hue one last chance while hopefully bringing in someone to overtake an aspect of the job he clearly can't handle, at least not while also being head coach.
