I can’t believe how fast and springy Rose looks. He’s really effective.

Jae Crowder and LeBron will have some of the best two-man defensive numbers this year.

The halfcourt defense was great in the first half and decent in the second half. But we got killed in transition. This team still needs to score to defend.

There there kyme, at least you get to play by yourself in a “real sports city” right?

Can’t wait to hear some juicy boos by those scums in Boston once they realize kyme ain’t taking them anywhere except for that lottery.

I agree totally. Thought Rose was fine with more spacing. But not with Wade/Bron.


Things I liked:

Wade running the 2nd unit.
Wade/JR on the floor together.
Wade's crunch time D/decision making/playmaking
Crowder and Wades veteran screening late in the game



I think the OBVIOUS best path forward for the team is to start JR and Rose. Always play Rose with a shooting 2 guard. Let Wade run the 2nd unit. Close big with Wade/JR/Bron/Crowder/Love.

When IT slots back in, Rose loses a lot of his role. But his role simply isn't that important when it comes to the playoffs. He can be an attack guard, change of pace off the bench. And he can be fine at doing it. That's all we need him to do.

I was very encouraged by Wade's play in terms of I really think he still has a pretty high level of play he can get to in crunch time/big games. I also loved the shot 2nd unit stint with him running the team. I wish he would just commit to that as his role. Ginnobli-esque.

i hate piling on with Lue. I so badly want to be in his corner. But playing Shumpert over JR is just totally nonsensical. And the continued lack of a discernible offensive system is really not a good sign. Team still crumbled with LBJ off the court. We LeBron’d our way to this win. Period point blank. It won’t work going forward. There is a ton of questions after tonight.

Hopefully, but the shooting has taken a big dip.

We're starting Wade and Rose instead of Irving and Smith. Frye is out of the rotation in favor of Crowder and Jeff Green.

It's a straight downgrade in terms of our shooting ability.

THey HAVE to figure out how to use Korver. Have to. He needs to play with better passers. LeBron and/or Wade need to play with him.

Lebron with 28-16-9-2 blocks on a bad ankle...

Right on here. I do not have to like him anymore as he is now to us fans our enemy. However his comments about Cleveland I feel were not at us but something went down. He is a dumb bitch. He was also the guy who gave us the moment with his shot and for that will always thank him for.

Was just skimming through the game thread...had to laugh at this in the span of only a few minutes. Not laughing at either of you, just how nitpicked Lue is already being in GAME ONE with 3 new starters, and almost half of his rotation being new, and how he can't do anything right with anyone apparently.

Going to be a long, sloppy few weeks of play as we fine tune things and get stuff on film to fix and figure out...hope everyone understands that.
