Once IT's back, Love can do a lot of that post and elbow action with IT, Crowder, and LeBron all kick out options for three.

First thing Lue said after the BOS game was that they needed to establish Love more and they definitely did in the first quarter and just in general.

The difference in depth and defensive presence is so nice. Stretches of last year's regular season were a little nightmarish.

Also, through two games, LeBron is at Heat level efficiency.

Love with 6 assists tonight, he had only one game all of last year (RS+playoffs) with 6 assists.

Zizic was in street clothes and Cedi will only play when we are up by 20 with 1 minute to go it seems.

Disappointing and really shouldn't be this way. Zizic will get 0 time in blowouts aswell.. this time will be reserved for Frye.

Wade needs to come off the bench and be the main man on the second team. He can mentally adjust to that. And when he does we will be extremely deadly..........

Happy to see us utilizing Love's abilities when playing C, rather than just throwing him in there to figure it out. Several good inside out basketball plays, making use of his passing abilities. He had 6 assists tonight! Singling him out on Maker, who is soft as shit. Good job on that part.

The first half was lame, but the second half was really a showcase of the different weapons we have and it was a beauty. The chemistry is still lacking, and Lue's decision making is questionable at times. But tonight he made the right adjustments and played to our strengths.

And how fucking great is Crowder, eh? Boy is a beast!

Wade will be fine. Lue just should have manned up and made either Rose or Wade come off the bench. This whole situation is on Lue

Why? Because they don't play in 82 games?

They're on a team with a ton of guys who need to establish a comfort level. That is way more important in the first 2-3 months of the season than whether Cedi or Ante get blowout minutes.

They're both under contract for 3-5 years. They're on a team loaded with some of the most high character, best work habit NBA vets. Unless they are knuckleheads(don't think either are) they will be learning and developing in every practice, every film session, every blow out or rest game they do get minutes in.

DeJounte Murray started for the injured Tony Parker the other night. He was a 1st round pick rookie last season for the Spurs. How many games did Pop give him last year? 38

@Sir'Dom Pointer This is why Cedi and Zizic will have it tough getting mins.

If Cedi can show that he guard pg's you can make a case for him getting mins over Shump.

If Zizic can play on the floor with TT then you can make the case for him as well.

Both guys need those things to happen to jump Shump.

Playing next to IT will help Wade.. IT knocking down almost 40% from 3 will be a huge boost... Rose surrounded by shooters with Green and TT also is gonna be an excellent 2nd unit .. having 2 bigs that can run the floor with JR and Korver spreading will be great for Rose
