He really is a LOT like Michael Vick. People were hesitant to make the comparison at first when he came onto the scene last year, but it's the only comparison to make. Their unique skillsets are incredibly similar.Arm talent. He opens up your playbook more than any of these other QB's. He's going to be one of the fastest players on the field the day he steps into the NFL. His accuracy needs to improve but it's not horrible. He has the strongest arm. He's mobile in the pocket. He can evade the defense. When he runs he's the most dynamic player on the field.
I'm not saying he's going to last a long time running in the NFL or that he should run a lot. I'm saying in the NFL today you need to have a QB who can be mobile and he would be the best from day one.
The fact that he is a runner who can passAlso what makes Lamar's bust rate high? How is Lamar's bust rate any higher than Mahomes, Kizer, Trubisky, Wentz?

But I agree with @The Wizard of Moz in that he's a pretty big risk. He could flop spectacularly which would be tough to swallow given Derwin James will be sitting there waiting to feast on NFL offenses for the next 15 years.
Not sure it's any higher than those guys, but it's high for a couple reasons. One, he runs around a lot, more than he needs to. Two, Louisville doesn't really run any kind of system...it's just "Go, Lamar!"...Lamar sort of joked a couple years ago about not having a playbook, but the vast majority believe it to be true. Also what makes Lamar's bust rate high? Woah dere. Nice to see Ben made a filter for the N bomb. How are they not N***** risk than Lamar?

I just don't understand how many electric runners we have to see get beaten to hell and then have a shelf life more similar to RBs than QBs
It happened with RG3, it happened with Kaep, it'll happen with Watson. Watson is electric now. I'll be willing to bet in 5 years he won't be a starter.
This shit isn't hard guys. Don't pick the QBs who rely on their legs to be special. It's great he has a strong arm. It's great some think he could be a pocket QB. But he's not
Also I hated the Kizer pick so I'd say Kizer's bust rate is higher than Jacksons

You probably did by mistake, and meant to write "bigger"??? I didn't write that?

The last 2 QBs that I remember saying
"Woah, that's the guy. Tank for him"
Were Winston and Goff. They don't come around every year
I actually really love watching Lamar play. Probably my favorite player in college football to watch
But last year the dude had 409 pass attempts and..... 260 rushing attempts
That is INSANE
There's a giant difference between a QB able to make plays with his legs and a guy running the ball 20+ times a game
