Welcome 8th Pick from Brooklyn

Do Not Sell My Personal Information

Meaningless poll, but lets play....where will the pick end up after the lottery?

Might want to look at previous seasons standings after a few games in. Not uncommon to see even bad teams start .750 and then just collapse when teams finally have the scouting report on their playbook.

Way too early to worry

I just wish we had the option to flip picks with the Lakers pick the Celtics get.

Celtics might not get the pick if it is 1 or 6 or later which it very well could be Sixers keep it.

Remember when the Suns wouldn't trade Josh Jackson for a proven Winner/All Star in Irving? That was cute. He is averaging 11, 1 and 1 (and yes, he has been getting minutes) with a 7 PER (Per always sets an NBA average at 15).

He's not even five games into his rookie season playing for a train wreck team.

Waaaay too early to tell. Irving didn't make sense for Phoenix anyway.

True, you are absolutely correct. I know its too early but still, Kyrie Irving! Personally i always take the sure thing, I'm not much of a gambler.

Yeah I bet they are...

They’d be lucky to get our first for EB. We sure as hell wouldn’t give up the Brooklyn pick. And they’re not putting Jackson or booker in any deal.

Bledsoe isn't a good player and he's fragile. His offensive stats are inflated playing in PHX and his defense is greatly overrated. I wouldn't give anything of value for Bledsoe. Booker and Jackson like you said arent moving.

Only deal with PHX I would explore would be buying low on Marquise Chriss who has fallen out of favor in PHX. Chriss is perfect in today's NBA he can hit 3s block shots and has solid upside.

So suns can want the Nets pick all they want but they won't get it.

Last year lottery teams (minus Miami and Denver) averaged .451 at home and .285 on the road, for ~30-52

17 of those winnable games are at home, 18 are road. Let's say 60% of home games, 40% of road games, or flush. ~17-18

22 of should lose games are at home, 22 are road. Let's say they win 25% of home games and 10% of road games. ~8-36

That's an adjusted 25-54

Add on the 2-1 and I see Brooklyn winning going 27-55. Last year that would be good for the 4th best odds. This year that probably falls around 6.
You know damn well we are going to drop at least 1 to the Nets spiraling this board into a frenzy

This pick is almost a curse because every trade partner will expect us to offer it. It's been that way since Boston held it. If they ask for it we should reply by asking if Jackson is also coming our way

There's no way they can get the Nets pick from us unless they include a top young prospect like Jackson or Booker... and they don't want to do that.

Playing around with the trade machine.

They could offer us Bledsoe, Bender, Chriss for Frye, Shump and the pick. lol

Only way we trade for Bledsoe is if the Cavs organization isn't convinced IT will return 100%.

Suns get IT and he just rests the entire year further helping their tank job.

Brooklyn started the season with probably the easiest schedule in the league. Pacers, then
Home for Orlando and Atlanta.

The “borderline playoff” team idea when they’re running off a 2-15 stretch two months from now will be fun to look back on.

That pick is probably going to be between 3-6. Those kind or picks are gold in today’s NBA. It’s a great asset.

Yeah, but what's in it for us?
