Why are you so worried about another "lying on you" if God can see all and you're confident in the "truth" you see?
"You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor." (Exodus 20:16)
Considering the fact that it is 1 of the 10 commandments, 9 to be specific, to not lie against another person, you will be judged by it.
Do you know how God feels about lying and liars? I think it is pretty important since you will be standing before Him one day soon to be judged, and all of eternity is weighing in the balance and there is one of two places that you will go. Heaven or hell. There is no other eternal destination. There is no purgatory like catholicism claims. That is a lie made up by their cult. Its up or down, heaven or hell. Those are the only 2 places that you will go for all of eternity. One or the other. Amen.
Think about that... all of eternity.. for ever.. do you know what forever is? We are not talking about 5, years, 10, 20, maybe 25 with the chance to get out on parole.. This is not that kind of party. 25 years in the hardest prison would be a vacation compared to what awaits for men in hell. Its not fear mongering, its the truth. If you feel fear, that is a self conviction.
"You are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father you will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaks of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it." (John 8:44)
To you, telling a lie is a little thing, but see, God is the judge, and a lie lights Gods wrath for He hates sin with a burning hatred. It is righteous to hate sin. But see, you do the deeds of your father, who is satan. If you walk after him, then you are of him and he is your father. Not everybody is Gods children, satan has many more.
"He that overcomes shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son. But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone: which is the second death." (Revelation 21:7-8)

God said, "
ALL liars..... will have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone".. You know what a liar is.. somebody who deliberately lies continuously. Its a way of life.. you tell lies against people, you lie to people for different reasons, you know, people who lie.. they are liars.
Have we all told lies? Yes. We all have told lies.. but the LORD gives forgiveness of sins and the leading in repentance so we can turn from our sins and walk in His ways that we may keep His commandments and follow His voice doing always what is right in His eyes, that He may make our crooked paths straight. Amen.
Grace is not a pass to sin, grace is imparted so that we wont sin. Amen.
As you see, God does not take lying / liars lightly. Lying is destructive.
How is lying destructive? Lets think about it.
- It kills trust, which can destroy a life
- It is seductive, seducing to manipulate to control somebody
- Lying against your neighbor is destroying a mans image falsely, trying to tear a man down before man with lies. False claims pushing people from a certain person you are speaking that lie / lies against. Painting him in a false image.
- It is sneaky with no good intention
And I'm sure the list goes on and on, thats just off the top of my head.
satan is the father of lies. that should speak enough about the severity of lies.
So, you still want to spread lies? The intention of the lie doesnt matter, its a lie.. you still think its ok to lie? That its a righteous thing to lie?
If you want to play with fire, literally, for all eternity just to tell some lies on somebody to make him look bad, bearing false witness against your neighbor, a neighbor which is just another term for another man / woman... If you want to tap dance on thin ice hovering right above a lake of fire.. Go ahead, be my guest, your life, your choice. But no man reading my posts can claim ignorance on that day if they dont choose to repent and believe the Gospel and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
