Who are we trying to kid? Haiti is a raging dumpster-fire. It's riddled in violent crime, corruption and poverty. Would anybody want to even visit there other than for humanitarian reasons?

I would bet a substantial amount of money, that given the choice, Trump would allow in a Norwegian maintenance worker over a Nigerian doctor.

I've been to a few countries in West Africa, and there were certainly parts in the countries that you could describe as a "shithole". But some really wonderful people there as well. Smart, entrepreneurial, ambitious. Probably moreso than many Europeans to be honest.

And the shithole part of Ghana wasn't that much worse than some trailer parks in America.

SUCCESS! Donald Trump, President of the United States of America has had a very successful 1st year in office. Oh and his approval rating climbing...Just wait until the tax cuts start happening.

People in California refer to Bakersfield as a shithole. Bakersfield is heaven on earth compared to Haiti.

Please keep going on and on. You have failed fantastically up to this point.

Also, Rasmussen is notoriously tilted right. Better to take an aggregate approach like 538 which puts his approval at 39%. Surely to plummet after these comments.

I just find it odd because I've lived in third world countries, and my common sense before doing so was wrong; as common sense often is...

I also can't reconcile the "very fine people" Charlottesville comments with the sentiment that we don't want these people from "shithole" "African countries" that (2016) won't "go back to their huts." Or ... that all Haitans have "AIDS." Seems very much in line with the "who's doing the raping, Don? Who is doing the raping" when referring to Mexican immigrants.

So.. again, while to you, what we might call Third World nations might be "shitholes," some of the rest of us might us the term "developing" and "post-colonial" .. Again, as an American and having lived in third world countries before, hearing people say they Googled it just doesn't cut it for me -- it's ignorance on it's face, plain and simple.

His comments are larger than Haiti; he was referring to Africa in general, and last year he specifically referred to Nigerians as people who wouldn't "return to their huts."

You surely wouldn't defend such comments would you?

Had no choice after the shithole comments. But no surprise to see exactly what I expected here. Let me try this again....
