Any word on Chicago wanting to hold on to Justin Holiday with the reemergence of LaVine?
I know they both (LaVine + Holiday) start with Dunn, but was curious how much he was coveted in the Chicago front office. 4.6 million this year, 4.3 million next year. 28 years old.
Holiday fires a lot of shots up there, but I wonder how he would work with a reduced offensive role (currently has a 18.3 usage percentage, which isn't too high, he plays a ton of minutes at 34+ a game) focusing on defense (good size with a 7'1" wingspan). At least he's not afraid to shoot threes (55 percent of his shots are from three which he converts at a 38.7 percent rate).
At this point, any trade for a wing/guard is going to be an improvement, and yes, I would include Justin as an improvement on the current situation.
