Trade Deadline - Feb 8 at 3:00 EST

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
How about this 3-team trade?

DAL - Tristan Thompson
DAL - JR Smith

OKC - Wes Matthews
OKC - Cedi Osman
OKC - Nets Pick

CLE - Paul George
CLE - Nerlens Noel

Replace Osman with Shumpert and Noel with Wes, I am all in.

The Atlanta Hawks will reportedly make starting center Dewayne Dedmon available for acquisition before the upcoming NBA trade deadline.

Trade them TT and let him start...he will lead them to the promise land!!! (the lottery)

If larger/better deals don’t come together I would try to do a TT/Frye/Cavs 2018 1st for Dedmon and Bazemore. Would even lower the protections on the 2019 pick we owe the Hawks from 8 down to 6

But that’s only if better deals don’t materialize. Would also try to find a way to make it Shump or JR instead of Frye, but ATL is going to prefer Fryes expiring to either of those two, especially considering what they’d be taking on in TT

If we don’t make an actual move, we won’t have anyone who is good’s rights.

Noel isn't good either, tbh.

Id stay away from him.

I love the George deal but he wont be traded mid season.

Any word on Chicago wanting to hold on to Justin Holiday with the reemergence of LaVine?

I know they both (LaVine + Holiday) start with Dunn, but was curious how much he was coveted in the Chicago front office. 4.6 million this year, 4.3 million next year. 28 years old.

Holiday fires a lot of shots up there, but I wonder how he would work with a reduced offensive role (currently has a 18.3 usage percentage, which isn't too high, he plays a ton of minutes at 34+ a game) focusing on defense (good size with a 7'1" wingspan). At least he's not afraid to shoot threes (55 percent of his shots are from three which he converts at a 38.7 percent rate).

At this point, any trade for a wing/guard is going to be an improvement, and yes, I would include Justin as an improvement on the current situation.

Not saying who it is but I have a source directly related to Rich Paul who was on a phone conversation with him. While not trying to speak of his where abouts he slipped and told source he was speaking with execs from the Clippers. Not saying there is a deal in place but it sounds like TT is as good as gone. Maybe not to LA but the Cavs are going hard to deal him.

If we don’t trade TT and I find out that you lied to me, I will find you...

Not questioning your source or anything...but Rich Paul does have a client on the Clippers. Montrezl Harrell. Do you know if the nature of the conversation involved Tristan?

Dedmon has been injured quite a bit lately, no thank you.

He wasn' talking to him Cavs related but my source asked him about the state of the team and if moves would be made. Rich told him TT will be gone.

I would be looking to do a three team deal based around the Clippers and either Orlando or Atlanta

Some combo of DJ, Simmons, Fournier or DJ, Bazemore

I think those are deals you could potentially get done with just our own 1sts/Zicic/TT and whoever else you needed to throw in to make it work money wise like Shump/Rose/Frye/JR

The Clippers would never take JR but a team like Atlanta or Orlando who knows they can’t attract FAs in the next 1-2years may be willing to either carry JRs salary or just outright cut him using the stretch provision.

I'm just telling you what I heard. He is directly related to Rich Paul. He is convinced TT is gone, to where he couldn't say.

I'm fully on board with Bazemore and Dedmon as long as we keep Osman and the Brooklyn pick. And while that would help a lot, I'm still trying to think of other ways to change this team. Does Isaiah Thomas even have any trade value around the league? If we moved him, we would need to replace his playmaking, but I would love a full grown point guard that doesn't have a bad hip. I want some guys that at least have a chance on defense.

Love for McCollum is something that intrigues me more than it should. I would want a little more from them, because Love is the better player, and they don't really have anything else I want. Maybe a pick we can use for something else. But I wouldn't mind running CJ at the 1 if we can move Thomas for a Love replacement. But can you get that for him? I doubt it. And I wouldn't make that move without a Thomas deal to go with it.

The other issue is that he's a combo guard, and we would need more distributors to go with him if LeBron and his old man gang leave next year. But I guess we could worry about that later.

Why do so many people want Kent fucking Bazemore? ATL fans would love it if we were dumb enough to deal for that clown, just like we'd be relieved if somebody took JR's corpse off ours.
