2017-18 Cleveland Indians Offseason

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Ummmm....he is said Brantley is running in a straight line? I mean, what else do you want from the guy? Do you know how hard that is on the body?
I chuckled !

No surprise that Salazar is already unhealthy and a few weeks behind.

Just because he says it every year doesn't mean we have to necessarily ignore it. He says it for good reason. We have a really good team, one of the best, despite what some of the fan base says.

I agree. This team is absolutely loaded. The complaints against management this off season is nauseating.

Team won 102 games last year with Kipnis having an awful year, and Guyer and Brantley missed significant chunks. Alonso put up better numbers than Santana did. Alonso was an All Star something Santana never did. The 22 game winning streak was done with no Brantley, no Miller and very little Kipnis.

As for losing Brian Shaw...good riddance. The team is much better without him Shaw had the 9th worst ERA out of the bullpen last season.

The complaint against a 1st baseman who was actually one of the best in baseball and one of the best relievers in baseball is nauseating as well. We didn't get a better team overall this offseason at all, if anything we did get worse on paper. We still have one of the best teams in baseball either way, but overall we didn't improve. Now that being said we are going to make a move or two before the season starts so I get why people are complaining, but at the same time we shouldn't be since we are still good.

Lindor on the juice??

His arms look MASSIVE.

Naw, he has been training with Yandy Diaz then. Look at his arms and you would see what I mean! lol

I don't trust Salazar to ever stay healthy, but thats just my honest opinion. His stuff is good, but at this rate start him on the DL for the season and make sure he is 100% before you even pitch him in the pros. If he only pitches in the second half of the season and we get the good Salazar then I will take it!

Hoping they bring JD MARTINEZ to camp and get a new lead singer..

Not enough hitting and an outfield full of questions....that is my major complaint...absolutely crazy they think they can count on Brantley...I love him but that $ was not well spent

Rajai's hitting splits fell off a bit more next year, and he'll be heading into next season as a 37 year old, but the guy still knows how to play, has solid yet unspectacular instincts in the field, and can still steal bases with the best of them.

Hopefully he can rekindle a bit of that magic with us next year, but I won't hold my breath.
