This bit about Mozgov is incorrect. He started every game in the series, and was the leading scorer in the game 4 that you're claiming he got pulled in. The Cavs were also not tied at the end of the third quarter - they were trailing by 5-6 points.
I meant Mozgov was essentially eliminated for game 5 after that game, a game in which he scored 28 points. They couldn't cover anyone in the 4th and got run off the floor because they were simply spent, more so than i've ever seen a team. The incredibly slim and tired roster was even more reason to stay big and slow the pace to a crawl. Win or lose, there was no possible advantage to gain on Golden St. by going small.
And you're right, the deficit was 6 after three quarters in gm4, my bad.
