I want to see Ante grow his hair and beard out a-la Steven Adams. Even if his beard comes out all spotty... it would be great. He's got a little too much of an Eddie Munster thing going with his current look.

Then Cedi needs to grow out his Guy Fawkes goatee and let his hair grow out to John Wick length. We'd have some guys on the squad sporting a tough guy Euro-trashy Russian mafia look that would strike fear into hearts across the league.

Problem with Eastern Europeans is that most of them can't grow a beard. I hope that a good dose of Testosterone has a chance to fix this awful issue.

Zizic is a mean guy and you can easily see some evil in his eyes....Cedi otoh, is a lost cause. At best he might be able to scare people with his over the top unconventional sweetness.

Bogdanovic just looks like a giant muscular 14 year old
 
I am just very happy TWO young players are getting developed and we will have two solid role players for the next year. It will be easier to either trade the pick for a single allstar player and include some of the vet contracts.

In case James goes building the brick wall in Philadelphia or somewhere, we have two guys who will be able to contribute in a bigger role (some draft luck and smart deaftin and we might be right back in the PO in 2/3 years) in that hypothetical post LeBron team. Something I didn’t expect to happen this year.

True -- although when you're shooting over 80% since you've been given consistent minutes, it's harder to justify passing.

But yeah, a big man who can pass quickly out of the double-team is much more dangerous -- especially when paired with one of the greatest of all time at cutting to the basket.

Sure. His passing was his weakness early on in his professional career. Low Ast rate and feel were a problem, but he did improve very much in short time. HE will never have the feel of Jokic thats for certain, however, he has shown some glimpses of being able to find cutters and spot up shooters on the perimeter. This is really what he needs to do if he plays on a very good offensive team...if he becomes a legit post threat then it's a huge addition.

Zizic also has better defensive potential, especially as a rim protector. Jokic is skillled as hell, but he lacks Zizic's mean streak.

I hope his minutes keep increasing, because we really need him to be the guy off the bench rather than TT.

He's got literally all the tools in the book to be an impact player at the C. I'm pleased by his feet and wingspan and most importantly his mean streak. I just feel like it's gotta be frustrating to play with a black hole like that even though it goes in a lot. But hey at least he's a mobile and impactful screener. If guys already can't get around his screens as a rookie he's gonna be a monster by the time he's 25.

Minutes -- we've got to keep feeding this kid minutes, and hopefully get him up to at least 18-20 mpg by the end of the season. He's not going to be effective yet against every opponent, but there are going to be some teams against whom having a guy his size is going to be invaluable. Not just as a defensive matchup against big men, but perhaps occasionally to get a size mismatch in our favor against certain opposing lineups.

as silly as it sounds i actually agree. we need an identity and that can start with some toughness. our team looks like a bunch of softies. hell, i'd take Perkins on vet minimum JUST to mean mug on the bench.
