I'd like to add though that he should have mid range game already and if not this year then the next. With his touch and work ethic he should be pretty damn fine on the offensive end.

I think he is going to have a similar touch and percentages to Jokic from inside the arc.

Yeah, but what makes Jokic such a dangerous scorer is his ridiculous passing ability. If you bring help, he sniffs out the open man and makes the pass in a split second, game over. As a result, Jokic gets to go one-on-one whenever he wants and there's nothing the defense can do about it.

Zizic may develop similar touch around the rim and from midrange, but he'll never be the same big-time scoring threat because defenses will always have the option of bringing the double team and forcing him to pass it back out. Doesn't mean he'll be useless, but I think his ceiling is an efficient 14 points and 11-12 boards per game if he eventually earns a starting roll.

Zizic doesn't have to be a great player to be a huge improvement for us at the center position. We haven't had a minimally competent true center since Mozgov left.

Most likely broader shoulders for Adams as Wingspan=shoulders/chest circumference and arms length, and higher shoulders and higher scapula elevation means higher standing reach.

So like I said, Adams lower standing reach is because he shoulders are more downsloping compared to Ante's bigger standing reach because of higher shoulders.

I'm sure Ante is glad you Guys aren't measuring his inseam.

Sure. His passing was his weakness early on in his professional career. Low Ast rate and feel were a problem, but he did improve very much in short time. HE will never have the feel of Jokic thats for certain, however, he has shown some glimpses of being able to find cutters and spot up shooters on the perimeter. This is really what he needs to do if he plays on a very good offensive team...if he becomes a legit post threat then it's a huge addition.

Nowhere near Jokic who is a for real pg/playmaker. Zizc can pass out of the post and shows better instincts in that regard than TT, which is awesome.

Anyways, Mejri was a very limited guy in Europe and no where close to even Zizic at 19...neither as a prospect nor as a productive player.

I only vaguely knew about him. Haven't seen even the Cavs Mavs games this year. He is already 31. Didn't recognize him from his photo or anything. I knew he wasn't a spring chicken, but expecting improvement other than getting used to the speed of the NBA game is ridiculous in someone that old.

Ante hasn't really had a bad game yet. When he starts having as many bad games as Mejri I will be worried.

He is a very good rim protector and a defensive anchor in limited minutes, but he has no offensive game to speak of. He is better in the NBA than how he was in Europe simply because it's easier to be a more efficient roll man in a spaced out floor and rim protection is more impactful in the NBA than it is in Europe.

They are not similar as players.
