Meaningless poll, but lets play....where will the pick end up after the lottery?

Well mavaliers fan has us getting 9 first round picks and a Fultz for a guy who in his scenario is leaving anyway and Love

So that’s your bar
I hope the Cavs turn a few of those picks in to JC and Booker. With Fultz in the mix our back court would be devastating.

Fultz/Booker/JC > Curry/Thompson/Livingston

Fultz/JC/Calderon
Booker/Clarkson
Kawhi/Hood
AD/Nance Jr./James Johnson
Kanter/Zizic/Frye

Tons of youth / 2 in their prime super stars / Vets for locker room stability. With only 1 rookie in JC, this team is tailored made to contend for the ship year 1 .
I think this is doable if we are trading away LeBron/Love/Cedi/JR/TT/Korver/Hill/picks

Thoughts ?

At the water cooler, is it full of brandy?

Washington is the ticket. Those guys don't like each other. Just keep rooting for the Raptors.

So we had Miles Bridges attend the Q against the Pacers, while the 76ers have Bamba attend Wells Fargo center... :woohoo3:

Sigh...:dunno::bigcry:

And the Trailblazers...Unsure if they like each other but with a first round exit and a huge payroll. Not to forget no shot in the West for the forseeable future could make them a trade partner

One key note you're forgetting about THE JeVon Carter....

He lost his virginity before his dad did.

Are you sure the Cavs had him visit, and he didn't just go on his own? Bamba is also much closer to Philly (he's from NY), and Miles is in Michigan.

Literally included players from SIX different teams, including two near untouchables(AD/Booker) and a player the whole rest of the league will bid on(Kawhi)

Trolling, knows he's trolling, and enjoying every bit of the attention he's getting.

If Jevon Carter started this would be a powerful lineup but I'm not quite sure it puts us over the top. The depth is suspect in places and we are still weak at starting center. Also, I'm not convinced by Devin Booker on the defensive end at shooting guard. Yes, the other guys, especially Jevon Carter (NBA DPOY potential), will make us strong on defense. But Kanter and Booker are liabilities.

How about swinging an additional deal and getting Butler and Karl Anthony Towns from Minnesota? If we use the assets we would have used to get Booker and then also sign and trade Hood to include in the deal, they would be very available IMO. Hood is younger and cheaper than Butler, and is a better pure shooter from 3. Also, Minnesota would LOVE to get KLove back, he put up better offensive numbers than Towns.

I also feel like Chris Paul would be a good addition to the lineup in terms of mentoring Jevon Carter. We don't really need two young developing point guards in JC and Fultz both. So flip Fultz to Houston for Chris Paul (they will save oodles of money on salary and will be set up with a point guard of the future -- they can't be feeling good that Paul is over 30).

We pull that trade, our lineup is:

CP III / JC (they are about equal in terms of talent but maybe Paul could start early in the year as Carter gets used to the league)
Butler / Clarkson
Kawhi / Green (we can re-sign green for vet min)
AD / Nance
KAT / Zizic

Now *that* is a competitive lineup, even without Lebron! KAT has some development to do at the defensive end, but with the other starters all being solid defenders I feel like we could cover for him. The bench is just OK, but Calderon will help there and maybe we can get the other teams to send some incoming first rounders in the trades so we can gradually build that out. What do you think?

I don’t see CP3 moving off the Rockets unless an epic fail . I also have Fultz included in the LeBron package. CP3 is not young enough to be in my long term plans .

I do agree Minny needs a shake . I don’t want Butler . JC and Kawhi wil cover up Bookers D he’s also just 21. I need Kanter to be our enforcer. He will smack around anyone who F’s with AD and Kawhi

I’d imagine Washington’s preference has to be unload Wall, keep Beal, right?

Wall’s game heavily relies on athleticism. He’s going to age horribly. And while he’s only 27 now, Beal is younger

Wall is also paid a fortune and everyone on his team seems to dislike him
