When Cedi came over, one of the posters here revealed that Lue had no idea what type of player Cedi was because he didn't even watch any tape on him. If you're a good coach striving to win the championship, you'll try to at least get to know your new players and their strengths. It seems that Lue was biased against Cedi and Zizic from the get go.

Just no, no, no to Hood & Clarkson. These guys shouldn't be relied upon to be "the man". The less time these guys have the ball in their hands the better.

Love, JR, & Korver (and Hill/Calderon...basically, the vets) are going to have to rise to the occasion.

But, it's not going to matter if LeBron wants to play passive flaccid point guard and matador defense. He needs to show killer mentality. I still say that if LeBron wants to win, he'll win.

Our ball movement and defense MUST improve.

We shall see....

The problem is that LBJ can see the writing on the wall with this team as well as we can.

It's not like the phantom elbow injury in 2010, where this team had a legitimate shot at the title if it got past Boston. This team, with the current rotations and coaching, has basically no chance. Hard to expect superhuman effort from the guy who probably sees this as a lost cause, without even the benefit of it being a good learning/developmental experience for younger players.

I'm not saying that he will or should give up. I'm talking about him having one of his bizarrely superhuman effort games. Tough to psyche yourself up for that when you know it's futile.

It would be different if this was a young team gelling, and getting valuable experience even in losing. But we're just so fucking dysfunctional right now that it's like we're actually getting worse the more we play.

I rowed crew in college. A crew that rows together and in sync is going to blow out of the water even a stronger, more physically talented team that isn't. And if you tell the latter to row harder, it's going to look even worse.

This team is rudderless, and it starts with the head coach.
