Yeah, make no mistake, if Nance's low minutes are because we're being extra cautious with his health, I'm 1000% on board with that.

If healthy, he would...I think.

But since TT is holding his own and getting us wins, I see no reason to change course this series.

Next series however, if TT does what he did last finals, then I hope Lue gives Larry the nod instead. Which, if Larry is healthy, I think Lue will do since he's already pulled TT from the rotation a couple times this postseason.

And call me crazy, but I actually think that TT and Nance could play together in short bursts. I'd like to see us try out a big lineup:

Hill
LBJ
Cedi
Nance
TT

I know that lineup would never happen, but I think it could wreck 2nd units with defense, rebounds, and transition offense.

I don't know that he will, but yeah this series is about TT on Horford. What are Horford's numbers with Nance on him though? Eye test says he is denying Horford the ball and he is guarding him pretty well also. Jim Chones said that TT has been mentoring Nance even when TT was out of the rotation, so I imagine he is making Horfords life miserable in a similar way. It is Love who can't guard Horford at all. Automatic 2 points.

With TT or Nance on him I have barely seen the ball in Al's hands.
 
Pretty hard to give nance minutes when tt is playing this well. Hes back to playing with manic energy, its the one thing he is good at basketball

I agree, but if he is going to play Jeff Green I think you use Nance. It is subtle, but at a least Nance is somewhat of an offensive threat. TT and Green is no Bueno
 
More Nance pls! Finally hes playing some ... and see what he does. This guy can contribute so much to any basketball team ...Hope plays significant minutes again in boston. Go cavs!!
 
Really liked Nance tonight: always felt his play against GS was the reason we got him.
He's got great gravity, he can rebound, and he can switch on everything.

God damn so pissed we lost this: Lue even played Love/Nance a bunch
 
This guy needs major work on his free throws. He's been garbage from the line in the playoffs (<45%). I can't even remember how many times he's thudded the back of the iron (i.e. he's not even close).
 
I am truly disappointed we weren’t utilizing his ability to start the fast break.. LeBron and even Hill are both very dangerous in transition, so the defense anticipates that. Nance is able to go right in the middle feom his own half and dunk it, just like Draymond. We could even try some Love-Nance pick action, to get defense struggling (you are either too late to contest Love or you let Nance slip right in the paint). And you have LeBron there to make that right assist or cut if defense manages to prevent initial action and you still end up with the easy offense.
Nothing creative with whatever we do have.

Lebron really shouldn't hunt for defensive rebounds. Nowadays he just nonchalantly brings the ball up which destroys our transition game. He should fill the wings in transition and let other players bring the ball up in transition. He is just so much more dangerous when he gets the ball ahead of steam.

I won't say the reason he does it, but it's not the conductive to our offense.

Nance overall was very much under-utilised. He is a very good passer for a big man, and he wasn't put in a position to do anything other than screen and roll @ high PnR.
 

Get it done. I’m more than alright with him as our center of the future. Use the pick on a wing player.

Eh I'd agree with Sir Dom and say that he's more likely better suited to be the PF of the future.

Zizic has way more upside as a center (especially offensively)
