LeBron James

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Was that before the 80's when the league was on tape delay? What turned the league around were the names on the back. Has nothing to do with age but state of mind. I've been watching since the late 60's and enjoy it just as much if not more.

Since the early 60s for me. I was there for the Cavs inaugural season at the old Cleveland Coliseum. It's not that I don't think great players don't add value but when that becomes the driving force then I have a problem.

Yeah, he's gone! Where there's smoke there's fire. Barring some major maneuver to bring in a star, I think he's already made up his mind. Cavs need to start thinking about how they're gonna fleece the Lakers.

Deng + Ball + Ingram + future 1st?

I actually think Ball and Sexton wouldn't be a bad back-court. Lonzo's 6'6, good defender, good facilitator. I wouldn't mind having him. Hell his dad might keep us relevant with all of his crazy takes.

Sexton
Ball
Cedi, Preston
Ingram
Nance, Zizic

That is one fast fucking team! Would be fun to watch at least.

Deng, Korver, Tristan, and Love all come off the books in 2020. We would have over $70M in cap space! Right when the team is ready to take the next step.

You are high if you think the Lakers are trading Ingram to Cleveland.

I do not think we will get that much in a sign and trade.
I would be thrilled with just Ingram but I think Ball has to be involved, LBJ would not want Lavar around

Not sure that draft choice will be worth that much, be a late first round pick .

If we get Ball, i think we would move him pretty quickly. Unless it is BS Koby is talking more about building a culture....that cant include the balls

The only thing is we haven't seen are the photos Iike we when James left from Miami. But certainly there's so much smoke we better be prepared

Fleece the Lakers? You do realize they can just sign LeBron outright? I would think that is the plan. Why give up assets when you don't have too? The only reason why they would have to give up assets is if LeBron wanted a supermax, but I expect he will just sign a short term deal again.

And taking Ball from the Lakers is what they want. They want nothing more to do with the Ball family. Especially their fans. The Lakers forums can't get Ball out of LA fast enough. I'm pretty sure most Cavs fans want nothing to do with that family either. Lonzo looking average at best his rookie year is just a small part of it.

Question for the board, if Lebron leaves, will the Cavs end up with one of the ten worst records in the NBA? I ask because of the next year's draft pick which is top ten protected.

With Lue at the helm I'd say the odds are pretty high.

I hope I'm wrong, but its starting to sound like LeBron is gone. Too much smoke for there not to be fire.

And LeBron is the type of player to have his cake and eat it too. I'm sure that whatever team he agrees to go to, when they pitched him, he got an agreement from them to trade for him so he can get his Super Max on the way out.

That means that we would have to trade him and get something back. But something of value because Dan DOES NOT have to take a teams trash. No need to.

So when LeBron decides to let the Cavs FO know, it will pretty much be a complete package of something along the lines of "I'm leaving after signing the Super Max, and I'm going to the Lakers, and they are willing to offer you XYZ for my trade rights."

So we lose Kyrie for crap, still win 50+ games, and people complain about the regular season not being fun? Yea losing Kyrie for crap will make things not seem as fun.

I think the front office already knows. The draft and particularly the language used by Koby and Ty the next day was telling. I’m actually optimistic based on that they already have a plan in motion to get Love out of here when LeBron goes to LA.

I'm curious to see if Love goes with LeBron to LA. Completely clears the books for a rebuild in Cleveland, and for LBJ, he has instant chemistry when arriving.

Love will get moved, the FO claiming he’s in their plans without LBJ is absurd. I guess you could hold him to the trade deadline but that risks winning more games and is probably not the best play. But I would guess right now PG13 and LBJ to LA with Kawhi joining them next year and Love getting traded somewhere else so we can get the rebuild in gear

If we can get Kuzma, Ingram, ball for the both of them then hell yes. Otherwise we can get more for Love on our own
Love could go there for a year until Leonard could go then they can move Love

Bottom line is if George signs with OKC, I think the lakers and lebron are done for this year
