I would compromise and say lets do a combo to recognize tradition and create a new start.
I think blue and gold would look cool but I'm sure people will associate it with Michigan. Maybe black, blue and wine? Black and Wine? Not sure.

We should make the Cavs America's gay team. Rainbow colored uni's and it will attract a young wealthy gay people to Cleveland. They will buy homes and speed up the gentrification process. Clean up the streets and make everything young and attractive. Focus on the arts and entertainment that will make Cleveland a destination city. We can change the nickname to the "Little Apple" to steal some of NYC luster. Bingo bango attract free agents.

Regardless of what happens, black should still be used. I would, personally, embrace it, since we won our one and only title wearing Black unis. But, whatever. I prefer wine and gold solely because I remember the blue seats era and I want nothing to do with that color ever again.

I figured that was the difference. I was born into the 80's/90's Cavs. All I knew was blue and orange until LeBron. Thus, I was disconnected from the early Richfield teams.

The gold one is awesome. Harkens back to 1970. Would love to see a small origanal logo on the shorts as well. Signifying starting over
