2018 Trade Deadline

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Done
That sucks. Yanks, as always, are that scrappy underdog who you root for to make that savvy late season pick up on the cheap to help overcome all the natural disadvantages working against them.
At least the Indians outbid them for Bruce last year

Yankees couldn't be shown up by a measly market team like Cleveland again.

Not quite done apparently

Rooting for those guys to get it done and finally have something go their way after all these lean years

Whether our pitching gets its shit together or not will determine this team's fate.

I don’t understand where McCutchen fits on the Yanks once Judge returns

He doesn't. But it doesn't seem like Judge is particularly close to returning and who knows what he will look like when he returns.

If that's the implication, I'm fine with that. Yankees without Judge aren't the same monster, even if they do put Cutch out there in his place.

And if they're willing to sub out Gardner for Cutch if Judge is good to go in October, I'm also fine with that.

Really dont understand how the indians dont at least block the Yankees from McCutchen if they would have claimed him (if I understand the rules correctly), let alone outbid for him. Really wonder if they are banking on a plan of Donaldson and move Kipnis to the outfield again?

Not keen with the Kipnis move to the outfield. He showed last year he plays way too deep, and he also doesn't show a strong arm. I'm high on Greg Allen, however I don't feel he's the solution for this team today that's trying to contend to get to the WS. However, I would much rather play a young Greg Allen or a veteran in Raj Davis over Kipnis. Makes me think Granderson could be coming here now with the latest tweet from Nightengale.

I don't really expect any trade to be made (for the Indians), especially for a position player.
