Yeah we're pretty content with Allen, Melky emerging and getting our big fish in the pen great again.
 
If you can get Donaldson for a Ryder Ryan type, just to have as an extra bat. I’d do it, I don’t see the harm in having him there. Rosters have expanded for Sept. See if he can stay healthy from now until postseason.

keyword of course is could … is he any better than Edwin … who is going down
 
Sorry to rehash what’s probably been discussed already but is he under contract for next year as well? Or a FA after the playoffs?
 
I’m assuming Toronto will pay most of his remaining salary but I guess this is a good move for the bench.
