Amazed by his growth as a player. Never saw him do pull up threes last season (though the competition here compared to the NBA is night and day, but still).

Level of competition doesn't matter. Actually scoring against Euro competitions because of the rules is harder if you are a wing player. All of his shots were tough.

He didn't take pull up threes because he wasn't allowed to and maybe because the 3's are deeper in the NBA. Like Q-Tip said, he was the same player in the playoffs. Not playing him was criminal.

I agree that not playing him was criminal. And even his shooting were not good, it would be criminal because he brings lots of other things to the table.

But do you really think he was the same player? He seems to have reached a comfort and confidence level that was not there before as a result of getting better physically, improving his shot, adding new moves to his arsenal. And overall I see a much stronger player, compared to one year ago.

I'll answer that later ^^

Yes, but I cannot get a stream from the link I posted anymore. Playing against a Turkish team "Turk Telekom".

That sucks. So what are we going to do? :O

And Turk Telekom is not the team..it's the sponsor. Is it Darussafaka or?

He was better than many of the players ahead of him. He had a maturity about his game that most rookies don't have. He was prob the 4th or 5th best player on the team last year and the worst part was that he had skills(slashing, passing, defense) that no one else really had and that were badly needed during the playoffs.

Even during the finals in garbage time he blocked one of steph's drives to the rim. No doubt in my mind that the Cavs win at least game one with him in the game for half of JR's minutes.

I think it is the name of the team. Originally was PTT(I had to look it up in wikipedia) before privatization of the state telekom company. And after privatization the new name was Turk Telekom, which is both the sponsor and the name of the team. It's an Ankara team.

Also, no one could stop Durant. Why not put the pesky 6'8" guy with unflagging energy on him just to see if you could slow him down. Jeff Green had some success, but he really wasn't quick enough. It's just stupid to let yourself get curb stomped and not use your whole arsenal.

Oh okay,cool.

Just to make it clear, I fully agree that it was flat-out idiotic not to give him minutes. Let's just hope it is not too late and something similar will not happen this year.

But we're not talking about a year ago, before he had played a minute of NBA ball. We're talking about Cedi after he'd been with the Cavs for an entire regular season. He looked great in summer league - barely a month after the playoffs had ended.

This would have been my response with some added bullshit.

Cedi looked great right before the playoffs as well when we faced the Knicks. He looked strong, his form looked excellent and he looked ready to make a difference.

Heck, Cedi looked ready to contribute even in 2017. He looked terrific in Eurobasket. He looked stupendously quick, athletic and showed terrific playmaking skills for a swingman as well as great defensive skills and hustle. He shot the 3 ball very well as well(albeit with worse form).

Lue is an idiot, plain and simple. Not playing because he didn't have the perfect 3pt shot is a lame ass excuse.

Cedi looked ready to contribute on a contending team as a role player even in the 2015 Eurobasket. We should have brought him earlier.
