Cleveland Browns 2018 Season Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
@red. Why the fuck are you disagreeing with anyone who has a problem with Hue Jackson? The man has won 3 football games in 3 years.

And if this is about Kitchens, he’s very close with Haley and will likely be promoted to OC when Haley moves to interim HC. Haley will still call plays, of course.

Come off your high fucking horse. Didn’t you just disagree with me without an explanation? I gave it back and moved on. Do the same without tagging me bullshit.

I said what I said throughout this thread. I don’t give a damn about Hue, but let’s not act like Haley has done anything to warrant anything other than getting canned. Offense constantly unprepared.

I want both shit canned. This fake drama is too much for a team that’s losing.

I gave you a disagree because you disagreed with 4 of my posts along with everyone else’s.

I tagged you because I wanted to know your reasoning.

I now see that your reasoning is merely a scorched earth argument, and really isn’t plausible midseason.

*sent PM.

I didn’t think I could be more pissed off than I was after the Oakland game. But some how the Browns and the NFL continue to defy logic.

The Baker head shot will always baffle me. And I know the NFL will do nothing about it.

So I understand people dislike Haley and he needs to do better.

But Hue is a proven fucking idiot and he represent all that is wrong with this organization. He’s underhanded and a finger pointer. He publicly blamed Haley after the game in a “subtle” way.

He has zero accountability. How is he supposed to expect his players to be accountable for their effort if he won’t stand behind his own shortcomings?

I get that they all need to be gone, but Haley is at least intelligent. We saw it in his wit on Hard Knocks.

I don’t always agree with his calls, but he’s the lesser of two evils. It’s a step in the right direction getting rid of Hue.

In the offseason, we get the real keepers.
Exactly.

You don't fire Hue because Haley is better at calling plays. You fire Hue for consistently throwing other people under the bus publicly, and unnecessarily adding public infighting and dissension to the list of woes already plaguing this team.

If this team is going to fail, let's at least have them fail as a team.

I wouldn’t be surprised to see a fine on that one, even though it wasn’t called a penalty in the game.

Pretty terrible that Hue wouldn’t defend his young QB at the podium because he was too busy defending himself and throwing Haley under the bus.

Instead, Baker had to defend himself.

Yes! Exactly, have a fucking backbone and defend your QB, it doesn’t matter if he’s the #1 overall pick or your 5th string. Call out the refs, NFL, whoever. Show your team, you stand behind them.

If Hue and Shurmur were hanging off a cliff and I could only choose one to be the HC of the Browns for the next 5 years. I’m throwing myself off the cliff. I don’t know who is/was worse

I'm happy the players and coaches are speaking up.

That way, other fans and media can't really say it's not wrong and the Browns need to "earn" correct calls and unbiased officiating.

The explanation on the hit to the head is really easy.

Guy is mid tackle when Baker starts his slide.

I don’t like that it was picked up, but it also didn’t matter. It didn’t kill a drive.

Just like the fumble in Oakland. We scored the next possession, and if anything, the extra time off the clock should have helped.

Also, no way they fire Hue if he does his presser.

The problem with that is, this team is ready to win right now. With good coaching, this team would be in a playoff spot.

I agree that’s what hurt about yesterday. Ravens and Bengals lost, at 3-3-1 we are in the hunt for the division at almost the half way point of the year. Just crazy, the raiders game and yesterday, we win both, 4-2-1 and leading the division.

I agree we need a new coaching staff and can’t imagin this staff lasts, we would have gave him 3 years, and ready to move on. I think from a imagin standpoint around the league we had to give another year, now we can say he had a playoff talented rosters and could not win.
