Well, to promote some additional discussions while we wait for the coordinators to be hired...
The hiring cycle is just about complete--
AZ: Kingsbury
CIN: Taylor
CLE: Kitchens
DEN: Fangio
GB: LaFleur
MIA: Richard/Flores
NYJ: Gase
TB: Arians
Given who has been hired, believe the Browns have to feel pretty good about who they got...
Aside from Arians, which I understand wasn't as attractive due to worries about longevity, Kitchens was on equal footing with any of the first time candidates and his work with Baker likely put it over the top... In addition, I believe going offense was the right move to help promote stability for the most important relationship in the organization: QB & HC...
Just like any of these hires, coordinators will play a large part in their success but I think most of us can rest assured they got the main decision right..
The argument for McCarthy could have been made, and been a valid one... I'm curious as to why Pete Carmichael Jr. didn't get any interviews as well...
Once the college coaches decided to stay put, I'm glad the Browns recognized what had and didn't let Kitchens go...
