2019 Browns Off Season/Roster Discussion

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Itll never happen regarding him as a Brown, but it certainly effects our division.

He won't be a Brown. It'll be nice to not see him twice a year.

On a side note, some anti Jarvis Landry guys wanted Antonio Brown "absolutely", although he's got issues of his own. Wonder why the same people don't have the same opinion of Hunt. No video stat.

I still maintain that there’s a chance he eventually gets released.
I could be misinterpreting what I am seeing, but I cant see a world in which the Steelers have anywhere from $11 to $21M against the cap for a guy who is being cut. They would much rather take some asset than let him walk and eat up their cap.

Hope I am wrong though :chuckle:

That goes back to which is better for a team, a guy with off field issues or a guy with locker room issues. Its a tough call to be honest, but I can tell you this, New England takes on players like Gordon with off field issues but never allows a player to be a locker room issues, so if you are New England, they take Hunt over Brown every day of the week.

Unrelated and semi-venting?

Why are Pittsburgh and Baltimore fans so....stupid? Was talking in a non-browns site with people.

The moment Browns fans brought up hall of famers into the conversation they immediately start ranting about how "THEY WOULDN'T PLAY IN THE LEAGUE TODAY". One started talking about how Bud Dupree or James Harrison would "RIP JIM BROWN'S HEAD OFF", etc.

"OHIO SUCKS."
Okay have you ever been there?
"WHY WOULD I SPEND A MOMENT IN OHIO? IT SUCKS?"
Okay where are you from?
"OHIO SUCKS"

What a trash collection of fans.

Don't know why the NFL was so eager to give Baltimore a franchise back. It's like giving a meth addict a million dollars.

The one player from the 50's that would still be good today is Jim Brown. Probably about 4.6 speed at 235lbs, its why he was so, so so dominate in the 50's and 60's.

So funny that's the guy they chose to pick on.

Someone brought up the fact that he never lifted weights, and wasn't in any sort of modern training program at the time. So...imagine that but even more..insanely good.

I found it funny they started blowing James Harrison.

He grew up a 20 minute drive from me, went to my alma mater...and I even saw the dude play in person in 2000.

But "DUH. OHIO SUCKS".

Jim Brown would never get on the field because he'd constantly be suspended for domestic violence incidents.

Same with James Harrison as well.

Dude is beyond lucky he did his abuse during the era when the NFL turned a blind eye to it.

But yeah. agreed.

This is so damn true that it's not even funny. I wonder what his stance is on adding Kareem?

Kind of crazy to me how no one ever even brings up all the horrible things a lot of these former players did.

I had a former co-worker who played fullback for Nebraska in the early 80's. So many stories of the cops literally looking the other way on bar fights and other completely illegal activities. You think old NFL is bad, old college football players in football towns could literally murder someone and have the cops drive them home and help them wash their clothing.

Different times for sure.

Is @Triple-S the poster who came to talk about his Twitter battle, too?

... If so, I'm convinced he's at most 14, maybe 15.
