I’d say anything over 16 hands is a pretty high horse.
 
Kareem Hunt was living high on the hog in Kansas City, but he was left high and dry when the community got on their high horse. Now as Afroman once warned, "I messed up my whole life because I got high."

We'll have to agree to disagree on this. But I never said their opinions and observations are invalid (you know, like you're suggesting I'm doing right now).

I think we've beat the moral high horse thing to death, don't you? It's fine if you don't agree with my opinion, but you're suggestion that I think I'm above anyone else in here is unfounded and already getting old. Also, note that I said some would feel that way, and I didn't say anyone specific because nobody said that directly.

I do believe that some sports fans just want their teams to win regardless of what their players do or what kind of people they are off the field.

I honestly don't see how this is such an inflamatory remark. We've seen loads of posters on here try to excuse away ton of shit over the years. As fans we move goalposts constantly because we're inherently biased, it's really not a big deal to acknowledge that.

What you choose to do with that level of self reflection might be, but that's another discussion for another time.

To be fair I see 2 main criteria for judging this decision. On the field, and off the field.

On the field it's an absolute slam dunk. Adding elite talent on the cheap, it's almost an embarrassment of riches with both Hunt and Chubb lining up behind Baker.

Off the field, there's valid differences of opinions with the PR aspect being a legit reason to second guess signing Hunt.

FWIW Dorsey seems pretty immune to the PR question. I'd say that's probably a good thing, better than being ruled by public opinion.

There’s no way this thread is even top 50 worst all time.
