2019 Draft Prospects Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Not for the Browns, no.

Where do you think he goes, some sites have him a late first to 2nd round, others have him 3rd to 5th round.

I mean if he is there in the 4th for some stupid reason, you have to take him if you are the Browns right?

Sucks to see Savage rise so much but I haven't seen a ton of buzz on Adderley recently. He could be a good option in the 2nd.

This is a good draft for safeties, in my opinion. Teams looking for starting level cornerbacks are going to be a little disappointed, but a quality strong safety prospect will be there in the third round, possibly fourth. Adderley didn't run as fast as some had hoped, so he slipped a little post-combine. His ball skills, tracking, and tackling are still on point.

I think he goes firmly ahead of 49.

If that's wrong, then I agree. Would take him easily in the fourth.

For the Browns worth a 2nd round pick? I have a hard time picking a WR in 2nd, even if one falls. Draft needs do matter some, like if a QB falls, we aren't taking one in the 2nd.

3rd on WR with a 1st round grade from us I would debate, 4th, all day long.

Nah, I'd have a hard time drawing that card from a positional value perspective at 49.

Receiver needs to be a developmental role for this squad now with OBJ, Higgins, Landry and Callaway at the top.

Find a fifth and sixth guy who can compete on special teams and specialize in a specific route tree offensively, hoping he develops into more.

I'd live in the third, especially if you love the guy.

We wont have a shot at him unless we move up, but I do like him allot.

Question, do you use Duke to move up in the early 2nd to get him? He is a talent but on our team, is a WR a real difference maker?
I’m a huge Terry McLaurin fan, have been for awhile, but I’d still be shocked to see him go early 2nd.

I made an argument for why he should be a 3rd rounder this offseason, back when he was projected in the late rounds, but a pick in the 30-40 range seems a bit beyond the sweet spot where he moves from underrated sleeper to over-drafted.

I don’t think the team that takes him that high will be disappointed given his make-up—I’d just be surprised if he goes that early.

Adderley, and Rapp for that matter, both might be falling to the middle of round 2.

Times usually don’t matter—unless you run 4.8 as a safety.

Rapp running a 4.77 does matter. Mentioned that the morning of his pro day and analysts have concurred since. It's a shame because that time makes it really hard to play him in space.

Adderley ran a 4.68 and pulled up with a bad hammy. Not good, but a tick faster. Who knows if he could have run a better time without the hammy limiting workouts.

CGJ is also falling for what appears to be "bad interviews". Guy is known to be extremely confident in himself, so I could see how some teams will not want him on their team.

There will be a lot of talent at 49. If Sweat is really dropping, then he's a prime candidate to fall to that spot too.

Maurice Hurst was one of the best values in the 2018 draft after heart questions dropped him to the fifth round. He might have been the Raiders defensive MVP last year.

Absolutely.

Further, Hurst wasn't allowed to compete at the combine. Sweat was allowed. Unless Sweat somehow convinced the doctors to let him do it then bring him back to life afterwards, I don't think it's super serious.

Sweat is a 1st round talent, probably a top 10 talent in this class.

Drafted Baker Mayfield and Maurice Hurst last year for the Dolphins in the RCF mock. The real Dolphins ruined everything.

Looking Sweat one sight had his draft comparison as Ogbah, lol

Man do I hate draft comparisons, lol
