2019 NBA Draft Lottery

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I wonder if The Bulls might not want to jump Phoenix for Garland? We may be able to get an asset to move down to 7.

Culver or Hunter. Woo-freaking-hoo.........

Can’t argue that it’s rigged.

I mean if there’s one team in the lottery where Adam silver would of been anybody but them it would be New Orleans...

Terrible basketball market

Horrible organization that makes Lebron-Cavs-Gilbert Part 1 and 2 look like the Spurs...

Awful coach

No ability to win even with a top 5 NBA superstar.....

Just horrible for everyone...

Still cant believe the fucking Lakers move up that far. Thats a god damn joke.
Is it?

Part of the idea of flattening the system was to reward attempting to win instead of tanking. 3 of the top 4 won 33 games or better. If the Cavs won 33 next year and end up with a 1-4 pick, I think we'd LOVE the system - and feel we had a chance to take a major leap with one of those players.

It's over, now we know where we stand. We got a month to figure it out. We'll get a good player still. Unload some dead weight JR, TT, others, and make some moves. We'll be better next season.

That will change with Zion. New Orleans isn't a Miami where sports are second fiddle. The Saints prove that. With Zion, they will be sold out routinely now because of media coverage alone. But whatever shoe deal he signs, Nike for example will pump millions into that market by themselves. Don't forget, the Cavs were once a horrible value market, and then LeBron showed up.

Well, it was top 2 or bust. We’ll have another shot next year, but next year’s draft probably won’t have 2 guaranteed superstars, in my opinion. If we weren’t gonna get top 2, I’m happy with the way it played out. Didn’t want Chicago, Atlanta, LA, or NY to get in the top 2 either. And I’d rather be at 5 than 3. I don’t want RJ. Time to take a high risk high reward guy.

I'm struggling to think of a good pro market in that region.

The Sun Belt is insanely weak for pro sports. I think the lone success stories have been:
-NFC South
-Miami Dolphins
-Atlanta Braves
-Tampa Bay Lightning
-Nashville Predators.

It's great for college sports and stock car racing. But I really think that pro sports are primarily a more atlantic/rust belt/midwest/texas/west coast thing.

LeBron wasn't wrong when he said the NBA needed to downsize...
Orlando, and New Orleans are questionable at best for franchises IMO.
