That will change with Zion. New Orleans isn't a Miami where sports are second fiddle. The Saints prove that. With Zion, they will be sold out routinely now because of media coverage alone. Part of the idea of flattening the system was to reward attempting to win instead of tanking. 3 of the top 4 won 33 games or better. If the Cavs won 33 next year and end up with a 1-4 pick, I think we'd LOVE the system - and feel we had a chance to take a major leap with one of those players.

That would still be a shit deal for NO. No player they get at 4 will come close to what AD can do (if they can convince AD to stay). I think NO will try to compete and put a squad together because David Griffin isn’t the type to bow down to anyone. And they said during the telecast that Griffin thinks he can convince AD to stay.
