As an avid fan of MLB, I can confidently say the Indians fan base isn't even close to the worst.
 
Indians have increased their playoff odds by about 6% in the last week. Still only at 35%, but another week like last and things will get interesting.

We are 1.5 back in the wild card, and we technically still have room in the budget to get a bat or two to finish the season. We can also sell guys like Bauer and make a stronger team overall for 2020 so its hard to say right now since both decisions can make sense on paper because we could still possibly compete for the wild card if we get the right trade back and the young guys step up and hit and pitch well for us.

I always found it interesting that a fanbase that crushes tv ratings, as in literally some of the best tv ratings in baseball, gets called LITERALLY THE WORST IN BASEBALL whenever they say things the big bad diehards don’t like. It’s not just the one guy here. It’s a general mentality that fans own a team.

A few guys on a message board suggest a guy who has a massive dropoff in output after being a tremendous hitter and the entire fanbase is the worst in baseball. I mean...this is exactly what happens when guys use PEDs. Yeah it’s also possible that he suddenly forgot to hit, but...given the heavy PED usage history in baseball and the trend of guys putting up massive numbers and then suddenly dropping off guys on a message board suddenly aren’t allowed to discuss this? And additionally a handful of guys posting this means the whole fanbase sucks?

LOL. Get it together. You don’t own the concept of being a fan.

Sit on your ass and watch people hit a ball with stitches on it around a patch of grass and some sand inside of a stadium and either go to the games and don’t. But good christ...at a certain point, realize human beings are human beings. They just live in different places in America and have different patches of grass and sand in different stadiums to go to.

Worst fanbases. Its people.

This is pretty rich coming from a guy who doesn’t even actually watch any of his favorite teams play with any regularity.

In a way, he’s almost right.

Fans aren’t really the worst.

People who aren’t fans who manage to regularly troll message boards dedicated to the teams they aren’t fans of...those people have a pretty strong claim.
 
I watch them when they please me. I am the best type of fan.

Can’t wait to watch some Browns games this year after getting a lot of yard work done on Sundays for years.

I’m also a big Raptors guy now. Love the way they move the ball around and you can’t find a better guy than Kawhi. @PIP

Figured since their tax dollars had to pay for ANOTHER stadium to replace their 20-year-old stadium that they may as well take an interest in their investment.
